Texas Southern beats Prairie View A&M 79-63

Kavion McClain had 23 points in Texas Southern's 79-63 victory against Prairie View A&M on Saturday night. McClain added five rebounds and four steals for the Tigers (10-11, 7-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Zaire Hayes shot 4 for 8 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line to add 14 points.

Thompson’s 20 points, 4 3-pointers help Oklahoma St. top Utah 81-72 and end 3-game losing streak

Bryce Thompson scored 20 points on 4-for-4 shooting from 3-point range, reserve Marchelus Avery scored 17 points and Oklahoma State beat Utah 81-72 on Saturday to end the Cowboys' three-game skid. Oklahoma State (11-10, 3-7 Big 12) shot 48.9% (23 for 47) including 40% (8 for 20) from beyond the arc. Ten Cowboys entered the scoring column, nine of whom did it before halftime.

Beale scores 28, Bristol Jr. wins it with four-point play in Hampton’s 80-79 OT win against Howard

George Beale's 28 points off the bench helped Hampton defeat Howard 80-79 in overtime on Saturday night. Hampton scored eight points in the final minute of overtime and it was Wayne Bristol Jr.'s four-point play that gave them an 80-79 lead with eight seconds left in the extra period. Beale shot 8 of 18 from the field, including 5 for 13 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 7 from the line for the Pirates (11-12, 3-7 Coastal Athletic Association).

Eastern Kentucky defeats Austin Peay 88-82

George Kimble III had 27 points in Eastern Kentucky's 88-82 win against Austin Peay on Saturday night. Kimble shot 10 of 17 from the field, including 4 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 3 from the line for the Colonels (12-11, 6-4 Atlantic Sun Conference). Montavious Myrick added 14 points while going 5 of 6 and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line and had seven rebounds.
