The Columbus Crew are MLS champions after beating Los Angeles FC 2-1 in the MLS Cup final on Saturday at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio.
The Crew raced to a 2-0 lead in the first halp on a Cucho Hernandez penalty followed by a Yah Yeboah goal in a six-minute span. LAFC pulled one back through Denis Bouanga in the 74th minute but could not manage another before the final whistle.

More than posting five birdies on the back nine at Tiburon, Day and Ko managed to avoid mistakes that held so many other teams back. Eintracht Frankfurt pulverised Bayern Munich 5-1 with a sensational three-goal first-half performance to snap the champions’ unbeaten run in the Bundesliga this season. In an explosive first half, Eintracht completely overran Bayern and exposed their error-prone backline, scoring three times in 24 minutes.
Omar Marmoush opened their account in the 12th minute, drilling in the rebound after Fares Chaibi had hit the crossbar following a miskick from Bayern’s Noussair Mazraoui. After yet more slapdash defending from Bayern, Éric Dina Ebimbe doubled their lead in the 31st minute and Hugo Larsson made it 3-0 five minutes later, benefiting from a Joshua Kimmich error. Kimmich made amends just before the break with a powerful shot from 20 yards to cut the deficit but it did not stop the home side.
