Derik Queen knocked down two free throws with 19 seconds left to complete a second-half Maryland comeback and the Terrapins beat Villanova 76-75 to win the Saatva Empire Classic on Sunday afternoon. Maryland shot 17 of 29 in the second half, knocking down 4 of 9 from long range to fuel its comeback. Eric Dixon hit four 3-pointers and scored 22 points in the first half as Villanova built a 12-point halftime lead, 40-28, but the Terrapins climbed back in the second half.

Jamil Miller had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Kennesaw State dominated No. 24 Rutgers on Sunday and held on for a 79-77 win in the first home game against a ranked opponent in the program's history. Kennesaw State (5-1) was up by as many as 21 points and led for all but about seven minutes at the beginning of the game. Simeon Cottle had 15 points and Ricardo Wright scored 14.

Joe Bamisile scored 22 points, Max Shulga added 18 and VCU defeated Miami 77-70 on Sunday in the seventh-place game of the Charleston Classic. Shulga had eight rebounds and nine assists. He and Bamisile each made four 3-pointers.

Asa Newell scored 18 points, Silas Demary Jr. made a key steal in the final seconds and Georgia beat No. St. John's 66-63 on Sunday. After a timeout with 10 seconds remaining, RJ Luis Jr. got past midcourt and then Demary poked the ball away from behind.

The No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks (4-1, 0-0 SEC) allowed a large advantage at halftime to dwindle to just seven points before they pulled away to beat the Little Rock Trojans (3-3, 0-0 OVC) 79-67 on Friday night at Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks started the game fast and strong both offensively and defensively, and used five turnovers to jump out to an 11-0 lead that would later extend to 39-19 with just under three minutes before the half and 42-24 before the two teams went to the locker rooms. "Thank goodness it’s November, and again, you have a chance to put somebody away, and you mess around," Arkansas head coach John Calipari said postgame.
