Tyem Freeman had 18 points in UIC's 80-63 win over Missouri State on Tuesday night. Freeman also had five rebounds for the Flames (11-5, 3-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Filip Skobalj shot 6 for 6, including 5 for 5 from beyond the arc to add 17 points.

VonCameron Davis scored 31 points to lead Kent State over Northern Illinois 68-50 on Tuesday night. Davis added 10 rebounds and three steals for the Golden Flashes (10-4, 1-1 Mid-American Conference). Cli'Ron Hornbeak also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Norchad Omier and VJ Edgecombe each scored 18 points, and Baylor beat Cincinnati 68-48 on Tuesday night for its 10th straight home victory. Omier was recognized for reaching 2,000 career points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds to get within 34 of becoming the 14th player in NCAA history with 2,000 points and 1,500 rebounds.

Trey Thomas scored 22 points as Bowling Green beat Western Michigan 83-79 on Tuesday night. Thomas shot 7 for 15 (4 for 5 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line for the Falcons (6-8, 1-1 Mid-American Conference). Derrick Butler scored 19 points while going 6 of 14 from the floor, including 0 for 6 from 3-point range, and 7 for 9 from the free-throw line and added seven rebounds.

Freshman forward Asa Newell scored 12 of his 17 points after halftime and Georgia led the entire second half in beating No. Kentucky 82-69 on Tuesday night for its first win over a top-10 team in five years. Blue Cain added 15 points and Silas Demary Jr. had 14 for Georgia (13-2, 1-1 Southeastern Conference).

Eian Elmer scored 11 points while going 5 of 6 from the field and added six rebounds. Peter Suder had 11 points and finished 5 of 10 from the field. Payton Sparks finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds for the Cardinals (7-7, 1-1).

Zuby Ejiofor's 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks helped St. John's defeat Xavier 82-72 on Tuesday night. RJ Luis Jr. scored 18 points and added 10 rebounds for the Red Storm (13-3, 4-1 Big East Conference). Simeon Wilcher went 7 of 15 from the field (1 for 5 from 3-point range) to finish with 15 points.

J.J. Starling scored 21 points, Eddie Lampkin Jr. added a double-double and Syracuse beat Georgia Tech 62-55 on Tuesday night for its first Atlantic Coast Conference victory. Starling, who returned Saturday after missing seven games with a left-hand injury, shot 9 of 16 from the floor. Lampkin scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

No. 8 Florida knocked off No. 1 Tennessee, the last unbeaten team in men's college basketball, 73-43 Tuesday in Gainesville, Florida.

KJ Lewis scored a career-high 21 points and Arizona beat No. 21 West Virginia 75-56 on Tuesday night for its fifth straight win. Jaden Bradley added 15 points and Anthony Dell’Orso scored 10 for the Wildcats (9-5, 3-0 Big 12). Javon Small led West Virginia (11-3, 2-1) with 17 points.

UConn head coach Geno Auriemma said she may miss a few games and has been ruled out against Xavier this Wednesday.

No. 24 Michigan takes on No. 22 UCLA in the second game of tonight's men's Big Ten college basketball doubleheader. Tip-off is at 10 PM ET on Peacock.

The biggest test of the year is here for this Pitt team. After getting off to a 12-2 start and 3-0 mark in the conference, the Panthers now travel to Duke for their toughest game of the season to date. Duke is the clear favorite to win the league this year, and they have certainly played like it.

Tonight's Big Ten men's basketball header tips off with Nebraska vs Iowa at 8 PM, followed by Michigan vs UCLA at 10 PM on Peacock.

West Virginia looks to stay undefeated in Big 12 play when they host Arizona on Tuesday night at the WVU Coliseum. Arizona is coming into Tuesday's contest off a road win over Cincinnati. Arizona led by 19 in the second half before Cincinnati tied things up.
