J'Vonne Hadley scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, James Scott had his second career double-double and Louisville beat Clemson 74-64 on Tuesday night. Hadley was 10-of-12 shooting, 3 of 3 from 3-point range, and made 9 of 11 from the free-throw line. Scott made 5 of 5 from the field and finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Elijah Hawkins hit a career-high six 3s and scored 22 points, Darrion Williams added 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and Texas Tech beat BYU 72-67 on Tuesday night to end the Cougars' 14-game home win streak. Chance McMillian made three 3s and finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for Texas Tech (11-3, 2-1 Big 12). Fousseyni Traore led the Cougars with 14 points and Mawot Mag scored 11.

Braeden Carrington scored 20 points and Tyshawn Archie secured the victory with a 3-pointer with 28 seconds left as Tulsa knocked off UTSA 82-77 on Tuesday night. Carrington also added seven rebounds for the Golden Hurricane (7-9, 1-2 American Athletic Conference). Archie added 19 points while shooting 7 for 19, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc.

Tennessee coach Rick Barnes walked into the locker room and delivered a brief message to his downtrodden team: “This is good for us.” The top-ranked Volunteers became the last Division I team to lose this season, getting thumped 73-43 at No. 8 Florida on Tuesday night. Tennessee (14-1, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) missed its first nine shots, trailed by double digits a few minutes later and never recovered.

RJ Melendez scored 19 points and No. 14 Mississippi State beat Vanderbilt 76-64 on Tuesday night for its eighth straight victory. The Bulldogs (14-1, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) came in with their highest ranking yet under coach Chris Jans. Cameron Matthews added 16 points and Claudell Harris Jr. had 13 for Mississippi State.

Cooper Flagg was still simmering, angry at himself, for picking up his third foul so early in the second half before knocking away an entry pass to force a turnover. “As soon as I jumped, my mind kind of went blank and it just all happened really fast,” Flagg said. “It” was the 6-foot-9 Flagg soaring in to throw down a jaw-dropping one-handed dunk through a foul from Pittsburgh 7-footer Guillermo Diaz Graham in the second half of the fourth-ranked Blue Devils' 76-47 win Tuesday night.

Tamar Bates scored 20 points, Anthony Robinson II added 16 and Missouri cruised to an 83-67 victory over LSU on Tuesday night. Missouri (12-3, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) bounced back from an 84-68 loss to second-ranked Auburn. The Tigers have won 12 straight at home, their longest streak since a 26-game run from 2012 to 2014.

The Pitt Panthers dropped their first ACC game of the season with a 76-47 setback to No. 4 Duke inside of Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night. Pitt battled early on, and stayed within striking distance for much of the second half, but a late 18-0 avalanche by the Blue Devils emphatically shut the door over the final eight minutes. The Panthers rode an 11-point performance from junior big man, Cam Corhen, but he was also the only Pitt player to reach double figures.

Abou Ousmane scored 27 points and reserve Marchelus Avery scored 13 points and Oklahoma State took control late in the second half and went on to beat Kansas State 79-66 on Tuesday night. Ousmane finished 11-for-15 shooting and Bryce Thompson added 10 points for the Cowboys (9-5, 1-2 Big 12), which ended their two-game losing streak. Oklahoma State shot 47.5% (28 for 59) including 43% (9 for 21) from 3-point range.

Josh Dix had a career-high 31 points and seven 3-pointers, Payton Sandfort scored all 30 of his points after halftime and Iowa overcame a 15-point, second-half deficit to beat Nebraska 97-87 in overtime on Tuesday night. Dix and Payton Sandfort were a combined 13 of 20 from long range and 12 of 13 from the free-throw line. Iowa scored the first nine points of the extra period to pull away.

Stevie Mitchell added 13 points, David Joplin scored 12 and Kam Jones had 11 for Marquette (14-2, 5-0 Big East), which won its fifth straight game. Malik Mack led Georgetown (12-3, 3-1) with 18 points. Micah Peavy added 13 points, Thomas Sorber 11 and Caleb Williams 10.

Curtis Jones had 23 points off the bench to lead No. 3 Iowa State to an 82-59 victory over Utah on Tuesday night, extending the Cyclones' win streak to 10 games. Jones, who tied his season high in points on 10-of-17 shooting, also had five rebounds, six assists and two steals for the Cyclones (13-1, 3-0 Big 12). Tamin Lipsey had 20 points after going 11 of 14 at the free-throw line, and he had a season-high seven rebounds to go with two steals.
