No. 4 Kentucky overcomes 18-point deficit, takes down No. 7 Gonzaga in overtime 90-89

Andrew Carr had 19 points and No. 4 Kentucky erased an 18-point second half deficit to beat No. 7 Gonzaga 90-89 in overtime on Saturday night. Otega Oweh converted at the rim in the opening minute of overtime to put the Wildcats in front 81-79, their first lead since early in the first half. Amari Williams added a dunk, and Kentucky held on the rest of the way despite Nolan Hickman's 3-pointer that pulled Gonzaga within a point with 5 seconds to go.

Travis Head says he won’t allow accusations of lying from India firebrand Mohammed Siraj to ruin Australia’s second Test triumph.

The batsman has admitted swearing at Siraj during their tense flashpoint at Adelaide Oval on Saturday. Siraj gave century-maker Head a send-off and the Australian responded with some choice words.

Boyd scores 17 points and No. 24 San Diego State beats crosstown rival San Diego 74-57

Nick Boyd scored 17 points, including five in four seconds early in the second half, and No. 24 San Diego State beat San Diego 74-57 on Saturday night in the first meeting between the crosstown rivals in five years. Miles Byrd and Jared Coleman-Jones added 13 apiece and Pharaoh Compton had 12 for the Aztecs (6-2), who won their third straight game. Bendji Pierre scored 17 for USD, including five 3-pointers.
