Donavan Yap's 30 points led San Jose State over Fresno State 92-68 on Saturday as the regular season came to a close. Yap shot 11 for 14 (5 for 7 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Spartans (14-18, 7-13 Mountain West Conference). Jermaine Washington added 19 points while shooting 5 for 11 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line while they also had six rebounds.

Julian Reese goes out in style in his final home game after 4 years at Maryland

Julian Reese is a throwback of sorts — a four-year player who stuck it out at Maryland despite some ups and downs. Reese had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and the 13th-ranked Terrapins wrapped up the regular season with a 74-61 victory over Northwestern on Saturday. “I was just happy that he was able to get the ovation that he got," Maryland coach Kevin Willard said.

Small scores 25 on Senior Day as WVU closes out regular season with a win

It’s Javon Small’s world and West Virginia was living in it on Saturday. The Mountaineer point guard was honored prior to West Virginia hosting UCF at the WVU Coliseum. Small put the stamp on his personal achievements scoring 25 points, to go with seven rebounds and nine assists, as the Mountaineers led by as many as 27 in the first half, before that lead was cut to three in the second half.
