Norchad Omier scores 19, Baylor outlasts Arizona State 72-66 in overtime

Norchad Omier had 19 points and Baylor dominated overtime after blowing a 15-point lead to beat Arizona State 72-66 on Saturday night. The Bears (11-4, 2-2 Big 12) held Cincinnati to to 48 points in a 20-point win on Tuesday and appeared to be headed toward another blowout with a dominating first half. The Sun Devils (10-5, 1-3) clawed their way back by finding an offensive rhythm midway through the second half, pulling within 60-59 on Alston Mason's layup with 10 seconds left.

New Mexico State defeats UTEP 85-57

Zawdie Jackson had 18 points in New Mexico State's 85-57 victory against UTEP on Saturday night. Jackson added five assists for the Aggies (10-6, 3-0 Conference USA). Robert Carpenter added 17 points while shooting 8 for 12, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc while he also had five rebounds.

Utah Tech takes down Tarleton State 58-54

Beon Riley scored 17 points as Utah Tech beat Tarleton State 58-54 on Saturday night. Riley also had six rebounds for the Trailblazers (6-11, 2-0 Western Athletic Conference). Hakim Byrd shot 3 for 9 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line to add 14 points.

Graham Ike scores 21 points and No. 18 Gonzaga beats Washington State 88-75

Graham Ike had 21 points and seven rebounds, and No. 18 Gonzaga pulled away from Washington State after a back-and-forth first half to earn an 88-75 victory Saturday night. Nolan Hickman added 19 points and hit five 3-pointers for the Bulldogs (14-4, 5-0 West Coast Conference), who won their fifth straight game. Washington State (13-5, 3-2) was led by Nate Calmese, who scored 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting and finished with eight assists.
