Otis Frazier III scored 21 points as UTEP beat Louisiana Tech 70-60 on Thursday night. Frazier added 11 rebounds for the Miners (11-3, 1-0 Conference USA). Corey Camper Jr. added 17 points while going 6 of 14 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 4 for 4 from the line while they also had six rebounds and four steals.

Mark Freeman's 30 points led James Madison over Southern Miss 83-72 on Thursday night. Freeman shot 9 for 16 (4 for 8 from 3-point range) and 8 of 12 from the free-throw line for the Dukes (8-6, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference). AJ Smith scored 13 points and added five rebounds.

Daniel Ortiz scored 26 points as North Alabama beat Bellarmine 82-66 on Thursday night to start Atlantic Sun Conference play. Ortiz shot 9 for 18, including 8 for 17 from beyond the arc for the Lions (9-5, 1-0). Taye Fields scored 20 points while shooting 9 of 13 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line and added eight rebounds.

Terrance Ford Jr. scored 21 points as Arkansas State beat Old Dominion 78-59 on Thursday night. Ford had five assists for the Red Wolves (11-3, 2-0 Sun Belt Conference). Taryn Todd scored 17 points while going 5 of 17 from the floor, including 2 for 6 from 3-point range, and 5 for 6 from the line and added seven rebounds and five assists.

Caden Boser's 17 points helped Illinois State defeat Murray State 74-68 on Thursday night. Boser shot 7 for 9, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc for the Redbirds (9-5, 1-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Malachi Poindexter shot 5 of 9 from the field, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 5 from the line to add 17 points.

Johnson had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Morrow added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kailyn Gilbert scored 16 points and Mikaylah Williams had 14 for unbeaten LSU. Jersey Wolfenbarger, a transfer from Arkansas, finished with eight points and five rebounds.
