RJ Johnson, Daylen Berry lift Charleston Southern to surprising 83-79 victory over Miami

RJ Johnson scored 23 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute, Daylen Berry added two clutch free throws and Charleston Southern surprised Miami 83-79 on Saturday. The Buccaneers led for the last four minutes of the first half and deep into the second half before a 3-pointer from Austin Swartz gave Miami a 76-75 lead with 3 minutes left in the game. A three-point play by Lynn Kidd gave the Hurricanes a 79-75 lead with 2:11 remaining.

Lance Terry, Naithan George lead way and Georgia Tech defeats Central Arkansas 87-68

Lance Terry scored 25 points, Naithan George had 16 points and 11 assists, and Georgia Tech defeated Central Arkansas 87-68 on Saturday. After shooting 53% overall and making 9 of 18 3-pointers in the first half to build a 49-38 halftime lead, the Yellow Jackets cooled off early in the second half. The Yellow Jackets then put together a string of four free throws followed by a jumper from Terry to go up by 13 points with about 10 1/2 minutes remaining.
