Agbo’s season-high 19 points lead USC past Southern, 82-51 in final nonconference game

Chibuzo Agbo hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead USC to an 82-51 win over Southern on Sunday to close out its nonconference schedule by winning its fourth straight game. The Trojans (9-4) will take the holidays off before diving into its Big Ten Conference schedule Jan. 4 when they host No. 24 Michigan. USC opened the game on a 19-4 run and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

No. 19 Cincinnati dominates Grambling State 84-49 to close out its non-conference schedule

Aziz Bandaogo scored 15 points and No. 19 Cincinnati extended its winning streak to four games with an 84-49 win over the Grambling State on Sunday. Dillon Mitchell added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Day Day Thomas finished with 12 points for the Bearcats (10-1). Ernest Ross scored 16 points, and Mikale Stevenson added 11 points and seven rebounds for Grambling (2-10), which lost its fifth straight game overall and seventh straight on the road.

Ezewiro scores 19 and UAB takes down Alcorn State 91-74

Bradley Ezewiro scored 19 points off of the bench to help lead UAB past Alcorn State 91-74 on Sunday night. Christian Coleman scored 15 points while shooting 6 of 8 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line. The Braves (0-13) were led in scoring by Keionte Cornelius, who finished with 22 points.
