Trio helps LSU pull away in second half to beat New Orleans 86-70

Vyctorius Miller came off the bench to score 17, Cam Carter and freshman Corey Chest notched double-doubles and LSU pulled away in the second half to beat New Orleans 86-70 on Sunday. Miller made 6 of 10 shots with three 3-pointers for the Tigers (10-2), who improved to 8-0 at home. Carter finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and Chest totaled 12 points and 10 boards for the first of his career.

Mayo and Dickinson power No. 8 Kansas to an 87-53 win over Brown

Zeke Mayo scored 25 points, Hunter Dickinson had 15 points and 13 rebounds and No. 8 Kansas defeated Brown 87-53 on Sunday. Mayo hit two of his five 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to extend the Kansas lead to 25 points with 12 minutes to play. Brown (7-4) stayed competitive in the first half, trailing by a point 10 minutes into the game.

Johnson’s 25 lead FGCU past Florida Tech 79-62

Dallion Johnson scored 25 points as FGCU beat Florida Tech 79-62 on Sunday. Johnson shot 9 for 16, including 6 for 12 from beyond the arc for the Eagles (4-8). Keeshawn Kellman added 14 points while shooting 6 of 8 from the field while he also had nine rebounds.

Kylian Mbappé scored the opener and set up another goal as Real Madrid beat mid-table Sevilla 4-2 to move up to second place in La Liga and close the gap on Atlético Madrid to one point going into the winter break.

Mbappé scored with a thunderbolt from outside the box in the 10th minute before Federico Valverde put the reigning champions two goals ahead from long range 10 minutes later. Rodrygo fired in the third in the 34th minute from a cross by Lucas Vázquez.
