Love scores 24 points as Arizona rolls to a 94-41 win over Central Michigan

Caleb Love matched his season-high with 24 points to help power Arizona to a 94-41 rout of Central Michigan on Saturday. The Wildcats (6-5) won back-to-back games for the first time since beating Canisius and Old Dominion to open the season. The Chippewas (5-6) scored the game's first three points but Love knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 18 first-half points to put Arizona firmly in charge at intermission, 44-23.

Chris Austin's 20 points off of the bench helped lead Portland to a 74-64 victory over Lafayette on Saturday night. Austin shot 6 of 11 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line for the Pilots (5-8). Austin Rapp scored 15 points while shooting 4 for 6 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds.

Barnhizer’s fifth straight double-double leads Northwestern past DePaul 84-64

Nick Martinelli scored 23 points and Brooks Barnhizer posted his fifth-straight double-double as Northwestern cruised to an 84-64 win over cross-town rival DePaul on Saturday. Barnhizer scored 21 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished six assists with four steals and three blocked shots. He's the only player in the nation to twice this season post a double-double in points and rebounds with three assists, three steals and three blocked shots.

Creighton earns 86-79 victory against Villanova

Ryan Kalkbrenner scored 23 points as Creighton beat Villanova 86-79 on Saturday night. Kalkbrenner had five rebounds for the Bluejays (8-5, 1-1 Big East Conference). Neal Jamiya added 20 points while going 7 of 11 (6 for 7 from 3-point range) while they also had six assists.

Washington State wins 76-68 against Northern Iowa

Nate Calmese had 16 points in Washington State's 76-68 victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday night. Calmese also contributed six assists for the Cougars (10-3). Dane Erikstrup scored 15 points while shooting 6 for 7, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc.

Broome has 23 points, 11 rebounds as No. 2 Auburn beats No. 16 Purdue 87-69

Johni Broome had 23 points and 11 rebounds in his return from a shoulder injury, and No. 2 Auburn beat No. 16 Purdue 87-69 on Saturday. Broome had played only two minutes in the last game against Georgia State before hurting his right shoulder, but he and the Tigers (11-1) dominated the Boilermakers (8-4) most of the way. Tahaad Pettiford had 18 points and five assists for Auburn, which led by 33 points with seven minutes left.
