Jaden Akins had 13 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead seven Michigan State players scoring in double figures Saturday night and the Spartans scored the final 17 points to beat Bowling Green 86-72. Frankie Fiddler, who went 1 of 6 from the field but made 10 of 10 from the free-throw line, and Carson Cooper scored 12 points apiece for the Spartans. Tre Holloman and Coen Carr each added 11 points and Jeremy Fears Jr. and Jaxon Kohler scored 10 points apiece.

No. 14 Creighton earns another lopsided win with 79-56 victory over Kansas City

Freshman Jackson McAndrew scored 15 points off the bench and Ryan Kalkbrenner had 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead No. 14 Creighton past Kansas City 79-56 Saturday night. Isaac Traudt scored 13 points, Steven Ashworth added 11 and Arizona State transfer Jamiya Neal had his first double-double for Creighton with 11 points and 11 rebounds. McAndrew, Traudt and Ashworth each made three 3-pointers for the Bluejays (4-0), who have won their first four games by an average of 24.3 points.

Houston Christian earns 84-64 win over Rockford

Elijah Brooks scored 21 points as Houston Christian beat Rockford 84-64 on Saturday night. Brooks added six rebounds for the Huskies (2-2). Bryson Dawkins scored 18 points while going 7 of 12 from the floor, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and 2 for 5 from the line and added five rebounds.

Minnesota rallies in the 2nd half to down Yale 59-56

Dawson Garcia scored 24 points and Brennan Rigsby scored 15 points and Minnesota managed to survive Yale for a 59-56 win on Saturday. Minnesota has won three of its first four games for the third straight year. Garcia made a jump shot to tie it at 50 with 4:28 left, and less than a minute later his two free throws gave Minnesota the lead for good.

Lindsay scores 27 as Murray State beats Middle Tennessee 88-67

KyeRon Lindsay scored 27 points off of the bench to lead Murray State over Middle Tennessee 88-67 on Saturday night. Lindsay added eight rebounds and five blocks for the Racers (2-1). AJ Ferguson scored 16 points while going 4 of 5 from the floor, including 4 for 4 from 3-point range, and 4 for 4 from the line.
