Tre Johnson scored 19 points to lead five Longhorns in double figures and Texas rolled to a 105-58 win over Chicago State on Tuesday night. Johnson, the SEC freshman of the week who came in averaging 28.5 points a game and shooting 56% from the arc, was 6 of 9 from the floor, including 4 of 6 on 3-point tries in 22 minutes. Ze’rik Onyema added 18 points, Arthur Kaluma had 15 points and eight rebounds, Kadin Shedrick 12 points and Julian Larry 10 for the Longhorns (2-1), who shot 57% and dominated points in the paint 50-18.

Chase Hunter and Viktor Lakhin each scored 19 points with Lakhin grabbing 12 rebounds and Clemson beat Eastern Kentucky 75-62 on Tuesday night. Ian Schieffelin added 13 points for the Tigers. Devontae Blanton scored 23 points shooting 10 for 15 and Mayar Wol 12 for Eastern Kentucky.

The Rebels led 38-26 at halftime. Judah Brown led South Alabama (1-2) with 16 points while Myles Corey added 14. The Jaguars pulled within 55-52 in the final four minutes, but consecutive 3-point shots by Jaylen Murray, Brakefield and Pedulla put the game away.

Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa scored 24 points, Avery Brown made a go-ahead free throw with 0.8 seconds left and intentionally missed the second as Columbia beat Lehigh 76-75 on Tuesday night. De La Rosa added eight rebounds and three steals for the Lions (4-0). Blair Thompson scored 11 points while going 3 of 5 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 3 for 4 from the line and added seven rebounds.

Baye Ndongo had 19 points and 11 rebounds, Naithan George added 16 points and six assists and Georgia Tech beat Texas Southern 81-62 on Tuesday night. Ndongo gave the Yellow Jackets their first double-digit lead at 32-21 to begin a 12-0 run and they led by 24 points, 49-25, at halftime after George's 3-pointer in the closing seconds. Kowacie Reeves Jr. gave Georgia Tech its largest lead of 30 when he sank a 3-pointer with 12:20 remaining for a 64-34 lead.

Darren Buchanan Jr.'s 20 points and 11 rebounds helped George Washington defeat N.C. A&T 85-80 on Tuesday night. Jacoi Hutchinson scored 18 points, shooting 4 for 10 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 8 of 9 from the free-throw line for the Revolutionaries (3-0). Gerald Drumgoole Jr. went 6 of 14 from the field (2 for 7 from 3-point range) to finish with 14 points.

Jordan Stiemke scored 15 points off of the bench to help lead Loyola (Md. past NJIT 68-50 on Tuesday night. Stiemke went 6 of 10 from the field (3 for 5 from 3-point range) for the Greyhounds (2-1).
