West Virginia led by 12 in the first half before they trailed by 11 in the second half. Javon Small did everything he could to try and lift the Mountaineers late, but it wasn't enough, as TCU held on for a 65-60 win. TCU shot 23 free throws, making 20 of them, while WVU had only five free throw attempts, as the Horned Frogs earned their second straight win.

Rice wins 73-60 over East Carolina

Caden Powell scored 18 points as Rice beat East Carolina 73-60 on Wednesday night to snap a seven-game losing streak. Powell also contributed 10 rebounds for the Owls (12-11, 3-7 American Athletic Conference). Alem Huseinovic added 11 points while shooting 4 for 6, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc while he also had three steals.

Roche puts up 14 in Richmond’s 73-68 victory against Duquesne

Jason Roche had 14 points in Richmond's 73-68 victory against Duquesne on Wednesday night to break a seven-game slide. Roche had seven rebounds for the Spiders (8-15, 3-7 Atlantic 10 Conference). Dusan Neskovic scored 13 points while going 3 of 6 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 6 for 6 from the line.

Anderson’s 30 lead Furman past Western Carolina 84-75 in OT

Nick Anderson scored 30 points, including a tying basket late in regulation, and Furman dominated overtime for an 84-75 win over Western Carolina on Wednesday night. Anderson also added three steals for the Paladins (18-6, 6-5 Southern Conference). Pjay Smith Jr. scored 15 points and added five rebounds.

James Madison secures 64-61 victory over Troy

Elijah Hutchins-Everett and Bryce Lindsay each scored 14 points to help James Madison defeat Troy 64-61 on Wednesday night. Hutchins-Everett shot 3 of 3 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line for the Dukes (15-9, 8-4 Sun Belt Conference). Lindsay went 5 of 9 from the field, 4 for 7 from 3-point range.

Blue Devils handle business at Syracuse

Duke took care of business with an 83-54 throttling of Syracuse on Wednesday night at JMA Wireless Dome. The Blue Devils (20-2, 12-0 ACC) have won 16 straight games and made quick work of the Orange after Saturday night’s win against North Carolina. “These guys have been mature on their own,” coach Jon Scheyer said via post-game radio interview.
