Pitt battled early on, and stayed within striking distance for much of the second half, but a late 18-0 avalanche by the Blue Devils emphatically shut the door over the final eight minutes. Oklahoma State shot 47.5% (28 for 59) including 43% (9 for 21) from 3-point range.

Dix and Payton Sandfort were a combined 13 of 20 from long range and 12 of 13 from the free-throw line. Iowa scored the first nine points of the extra period to pull away.
