Gabe Madsen scored 25 points, surpassing 1,000 for his career and Utah poured in 19 3-pointers to roll past Central Arkansas 98-63 on Thursday night. The Utes picked up where they left off in their season opener, when they drilled a school-record 19 3-pointers in a 100-59 romp past Alcorn State. Gabe Madsen had six triples for the second-straight game and his twin brother Mason had five again.

Josh Cohen had 19 points and Saint Thomas hit a late 3-pointer to help Southern California hold off Idaho State 75-69 on Thursday night. Dylan Darling made both ends of a one-and-one following his layup to give Idaho State a 58-57 lead with 8:45 left to play. USC (2-0) moved back ahead by three, but Evan Otten hit 1 of 2 free throws and followed with a dunk to tie the game at 63 with 4:02 remaining.

Jovan Blacksher Jr. scored 18 points, Andrej Stojakovic added 15 and California erased Cal Poly's early double-digit lead, going on to a 91-73 victory on Tuesday night. Blacksher hit four 3-pointers and the Golden Bears went 11 of 26 from the arc in improving to 2-0 for the first time since the 2019-20 season they opened with four wins. Issac Jessup hit 5 of 9 3-point attempts and finished with 20 points to lead Cal Poly before fouling out.

Rodney Johnson Jr. scored 27 points as Tennessee Tech beat Bryan 89-74 on Thursday night. Johnson went 12 of 17 from the field (3 for 4 from 3-point range) for the Golden Eagles (1-1). Daniel Egbuniwe scored 22 points while going 8 of 12 from the floor, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and 2 for 3 from the line and added five rebounds and five assists.

Noah Williamson scored 32 points, including seven in overtime, and Bucknell beat Southern Indiana 75-69 on Thursday night. Williamson added nine rebounds for the Bison (2-0). Josh Bascoe shot 4 for 12 (0 for 6 from 3-point range) and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line to add 15 points.

Johnny Kinziger's 20 points helped Illinois State defeat North Dakota State 77-68 on Thursday night. Kinziger shot 6 of 11 from the field, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 6 from the line for the Redbirds (1-1). Ty Pence added 17 points while going 7 of 11 and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line while they also had seven rebounds.

Tytan Anderson had 19 points in Northern Iowa's 87-68 victory against Milwaukee on Thursday night. Anderson shot 6 for 8 (4 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line for the Panthers (2-0). Trey Campbell scored 16 points while shooting 6 for 10, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc and added seven rebounds.

Kevin “Boopie” Miller scored 20 points with nine rebounds and nine assists Thursday night and Yohan Traore added 19 points and 10 rebounds to help SMU beat Florda A&M 102-73. Chuck Harris made 4 of 6 from 3-point range and finished with 15 points for SMU (2-0). B.J. Edwards had 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists and Keon Ambrose-Hylton scored 10 points.
