Blackwell leads No. 11 Wisconsin to 88-62 rout of Washington

John Blackwell had 24 points and 10 rebounds as 11th-ranked Wisconsin bounced back from a disappointing defeat with an 88-62 victory over Washington on Tuesday night. John Tonje added 13 points for the Badgers (22-6, 12-5 Big Ten), who lost 77-73 to Oregon in overtime at home Saturday after leading by 15 with under eight minutes left. Steven Crowl and Xavier Amos had 12 points apiece for Wisconsin.

West Virginia erupts offensively as they get crucial win over TCU

In what could be viewed as their most important game of the season, West Virginia arguably turned in their most impressive half of the season against TCU. The Mountaineers put together a complete effort in the first 20 minutes, propelling them to a crucial 73-55 win over the Horned Frogs at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown. West Virginia entered Tuesday night with four games left in the regular season and still on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Harcum scores 25 as Murray State downs Indiana State 85-75

Terence Harcum's 25 points helped Murray State defeat Indiana State 85-75 on Tuesday night. Harcum shot 8 of 15 from the field, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 5 from the line for the Racers (15-15, 9-10 Missouri Valley Conference). Jacobi Wood scored 14 points while shooting 2 for 7 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 8 of 8 from the free-throw line.

Duke rolls past Miami

Duke led by 15 at the half, and Knueppel scored eight points in a 16-2 burst by the Blue Devils early in the second half to push the lead to 65-36. Lynn Kidd scored 17 points and Jalil Bethea had 13 for Miami (6-22, 2-15), which was without guard Matthew Cleveland. Proctor left Miami with the team and boarded the team’s bus on crutches. This time, it was Proctor’s left knee seemingly buckling as he back peddled on a fast break.

Ousmane scores 25 as Oklahoma State knocks off No. 9 Iowa State 74-68

Arturo Dean had 14 points and seven steals, and Bryce Thompson added 11 points for the Cowboys (14-14, 6-11 Big 12). Oklahoma State had no previous wins over AP Top 25 teams this season under first-year coach Steve Lutz. The Cowboys lost their previous two games against ranked opponents Texas Tech and Kansas by a combined 70 points.

VCU wins 78-60 against Richmond

Max Shulga scored 16 points as VCU beat Richmond 78-60 on Tuesday night. Shulga shot 4 for 6 (3 for 3 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Rams (23-5, 13-2 Atlantic 10 Conference). Joe Bamisile scored 13 points and added eight rebounds.

Jizzle James scored 18 points, Dillon Mitchell added 13 and Cincinnati held off Baylor 69-67 on Tuesday night to strengthen its case for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Josh Reed scored 11 points and Day Day Thomas had 10 for the Bearcats (17-11, 7-10 Big 12), who have won five of their last seven. VJ Edgecombe scored 18 points and Norchad Omier had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Baylor (16-12, 8-9), which is seeing its at-large hopes diminish after a third straight loss.

Swope’s 23 lead Saint Louis past Davidson 57-56

Isaiah Swope scored 23 points to lead Saint Louis and Robbie Avila made a game-winning layup with 4.3 seconds remaining as the Billikens knocked off Davidson 57-56 on Tuesday night. Saint Louis trailed by 13 with 6:31 to play before closing on a 19-5 run. Swope added five rebounds for the Billikens (16-12, 9-6 Atlantic 10 Conference).
