Julian Hammond III scored a season-high 23 points as Colorado rolled to an 81-70 nonconference win over South Dakota State to remain unbeaten on its home floor Friday night. Colorado (8-2) is 7-0 at home and its only losses came at the Maui Invitational. Matthew Mors scored at the basket midway through the second half to give South Dakota a 56-55 lead but Elijah Malone and Hammond hit back-to-back 3-pointers to jumpstart a 12-2 run that put the Buffaloes firmly in charge.

Northern Iowa secures 78-58 win against Omaha

Jacob Hutson scored 21 points as Northern Iowa beat Omaha 78-58 on Friday night. Hutson also contributed five assists for the Panthers (6-4). Trey Campbell added 20 points while going 5 of 8 from the floor, including 4 for 6 from 3-point range, and 6 for 6 from the free-throw line to go with eight rebounds and five assists.

Louisiana Tech wins 77-63 over Georgia Southern

Kaden Cooper scored 25 points as Louisiana Tech beat Georgia Southern 77-63 on Friday night. Cooper had eight rebounds and three steals for the Bulldogs (9-2). Daniel Batcho scored 22 points while shooting 9 of 10 from the field and 4 for 5 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds and three blocks.

Williams’ season-high 30 points helps Nebraska pull away from Indiana late, 85-68

Brice Williams scored 11 of his season-high 30 points during a 21-4 run that lifted Nebraska to a 85-68 Big Ten Conference win over Indiana on Friday night. Kanaan Carlyle's jumper with 9:57 left pulled Indiana into a 64-64 tie but the Hoosiers got just a Luke Goode 3-pointer and a free throw from Malik Reneau the rest of the way. Williams kicked off the Cornhuskers' closing run with a layup.
