Sam Godwin had a career-high 20 points with 14 rebounds to lead No. 13 Oklahoma past Oklahoma State 80-65 in Oklahoma City on Saturday night in the first Bedlam basketball game between the schools since the Sooners left the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference. Jeremiah Fears added 17 points and Kobe Elvis had 15 points for the Sooners, who have won their first 10 games and three straight against their longtime in-state rivals.

Hunter Erickson hit 4 of 6 from 3-point range and finished with 18 points, Gabe Madsen added 15 points and seven assists as Utah beat Radford 81-63 Saturday night. Lawson Lovering scored 12 for Utah (7-2). Truth Harris hit a 3-pointer to give Radford a 3-2 lead with 18:11 left in the first half but Lovering answered with a layup 36 seconds later and the Runnin' Utes led the rest of the way.

Asa Newell scored 17 points, including a three-point play with 17 seconds left, to help Georgia beat Grand Canyon 73-68 on Saturday night at Holiday Hoopsgiving. Tyrin Lawrence and Blue Cain scored 10 points. Collin Moore hit a 3-pointer, Ray Harrison added two free throws and then stole the ball from Cain and fed Jakobe Coles for a layup that made it 66-63 with 1:32 remaining.

Melendez makes 2 late free throws, No. 25 Mississippi State beats McNeese State 66-63

RJ Melendez had a season-high 18 points and Josh Hubbard added 16 to lead No. 25 Mississippi State to a 66-63 win over McNeese State in a neutral-site game on Saturday. Melendez made two free throws with nine seconds remaining in regulation to give Mississippi State (9-1) a 66-61 lead that it held on to. Joe Charles led McNeese State (5-5) with 19 points while Sincere Parker finished with 16.

Ayoka Lee leads No. 13 Kansas State women to 74-48 victory over Middle Tennessee

Ayoka Lee scored 16 and blocked four shots and No. 13 Kansas State dominated the second half in a 74-48 victory over Middle Tennessee on Saturday night in the second-annual Bill Snyder Classic. Lee made 4 of 5 shots from the floor and 8 of 12 free throws to help the Wildcats (11-1) run their win streak to six. Jaelyn Glenn scored 15 on 5-for-9 shooting from 3-point range with three steals for Kansas State.
