UAB Blazers (7-3) at Illinois State Redbirds (6-4) Normal, Illinois; Friday, 7:30 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: UAB visits Illinois State after Maddie Walsh scored 21 points in UAB's 66-60 victory over the New Orleans Privateers. The Redbirds have gone 2-1 at home.

Idaho State Bengals (5-5) at Northern Illinois Huskies (4-5) DeKalb, Illinois; Friday, 2 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Idaho State takes on Northern Illinois after Maria Dias scored 26 points in Idaho State's 67-50 victory over the UMKC Kangaroos. The Huskies are 1-2 in home games.

DJ Davis scored 21 points, Mekhi Mason added 15 as six players scored in double figures and Washington thumped Washington State 89-73 in the 300th meeting between the cross-state rivals on Wednesday night. It was the first meeting since the Huskies, who lead the series 189-111, joined the Big Ten Conference, leaving the Cougars to play as an affiliate member of the West Coast Conference as the Pac-12 Conference tries to rebuild its membership.

Cole Farrell's 18 points off of the bench led Portland State to an 81-75 victory against Pacific on Wednesday. Farrell added five rebounds for the Vikings (6-5). Shane Nowell scored 15 points, shooting 4 for 12 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.

Jeremiah Fears dropped 30 points and made the game-winning play late on Wednesday night in Charlotte.

CJ Hardy scored 22 points as CSU Bakersfield beat Portland 81-64 on Wednesday. Hardy shot 8 for 15, including 4 for 6 from beyond the arc for the Roadrunners (6-6, 0-2 Big West Conference). Jemel Jones scored 17 points, going 7 of 15 (3 for 3 from 3-point range).

Chibuzo Agbo scored 23 points and Desmond Claude scored 21 points and USC distanced itself from Cal State Northridge in the second half beating the Matadors 90-69 on Wednesday night. Saint Thomas scored 16 points and Josh Cohen added 12 for the Trojans (8-4) who have won three straight following a three-game skid. PJ Fuller II and Keonte Jones scored 17 apiece for the Matadors (7-4).

Barrington Hargress' 22 points helped UC Riverside defeat Montana State 83-80 on Wednesday. Hargress added 10 assists for the Highlanders (8-4). Kaleb Smith scored 18 points while shooting 6 for 10 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 5 of 7 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds.

Fears finished with 30 points on 8-of-12 shooting as the Sooners remained unbeaten.

Kam Jones scored 23 points as No. 9 Marquette earns an 80-70 victory over Butler in the Big East opener for both teams.

Dent added five rebounds for the Lobos (9-3). Nelly Junior Joseph scored 15 points while shooting 5 of 11 from the field and 5 for 8 from the line and added 11 rebounds. Mustapha Amzil shot 5 of 12 from the field and 5 of 7 from the free-throw line to finish with 15 points, while adding eight rebounds.

Braden Huff scored 25 points off the bench and No. 13 Gonzaga overcame a slow start to roll past Nicholls 102-72 on Wednesday night. Graham Ike added 20 points and six rebounds, and Ryan Nembhard had 18 points and 10 assists to help the Bulldogs (8-3) bounce back from a 77-71 loss last week to No. 11 UConn at Madison Square Garden. Bryon Ireland led Nicholls (7-5) with 16 points, including eight in the first half.
