Otis Frazier III had 16 points in UTEP's 67-61 victory over Jackson State on Friday. Frazier shot 5 for 11 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free-throw line for the Miners (8-3). Kevin Kalu scored 12 points and added 12 rebounds.

Zuby Ejiofor led St. John's with 19 points, including the game-winning jump shot with one second left, and the Red Storm knocked off Providence 72-70 on Friday night. Ejiofor also contributed 10 rebounds for the Red Storm (10-2, 2-0 Big East Conference). Deivon Smith scored 17 points, going 8 of 15 from the field.

Kanon Catchings scored 21 points and led five players into double-digit scoring as BYU rolled to a 103-57 rout of Florida A&M on Friday night. Jordan Chatman scored at the basket and knocked down a 3 to give Florida A&M an early lead, but Mawot Mag hit a 3 and Catchings dunked to pull BYU even at 7-7 and jump start a 22-0 run that put the Cougars solidly in front. BYU built a 29-point lead at intermission and outscored the Rattlers by 17 points in the second half.

Brenen Lorient scored 17 points off of the bench to lead North Texas past Appalachian State 68-64 on Friday night. Lorient added five rebounds and three blocks for the Mean Green (8-3). Atin Wright scored 13 points while shooting 5 for 8, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc.

Dan Skillings Jr. scored 17 points and Jizzle James added 14 as No. 19 Cincinnati ended No. 22 Dayton's five-game winning streak 66-59 on Friday night. Simas Lukosius added 13 for the Bearcats (9-1), who have won three straight. Malachi Smith and Nate Santos each scored 13 for the Flyers (10-3), who committed a season-high 17 turnovers.

Mouhamed Sow's 25 points helped Saint Peter's defeat Delaware 72-64 on Friday night. Sow went 11 of 14 from the field for the Peacocks (5-5, 0-2). Bryce Eaton added 15 points while shooting 5 for 14, including 5 for 7 from beyond the arc while they also had seven rebounds.

Corey Hadnot II's 17 points helped Purdue Fort Wayne defeat Defiance 103-52 on Friday night. Hadnot went 7 of 11 from the field (3 for 6 from 3-point range) for the Mastodons (9-4, 2-1 Horizon League). Chris Morgan scored 16 points and added six steals.

Joe Nugent's 20 points helped Holy Cross defeat Siena 78-70 on Friday night. Nugent went 6 of 10 from the field (6 for 9 from 3-point range) for the Crusaders (7-5). Max Green added 15 points while going 6 of 11 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) while they also had six assists.

Robert Smith scored 26 points as Delaware State beat Alabama State 83-80 in the Chris Paul HBCU Classic at the Mohegan Sun on Friday night. Smith shot 9 for 15, including 7 for 11 from beyond the arc for the Hornets (7-6). Martez Robinson scored 23 points while going 8 of 16 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 6 for 8 from the line and added six rebounds.

Nick Spinoso had 22 points in Pennsylvania's 79-66 win against Rider on Friday night. Spinoso also contributed six rebounds for the Quakers (4-7). Ethan Roberts scored 20 points while shooting 7 for 13 (3 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds and five assists.

Georgia Amoore scored 20 of her 23 points in the second half, Amelia Hassett added 16, including a clutch 3-pointer with 30.1 seconds to go, and No. Kentucky held on to defeat Belmont 84-78 on Friday night. The Wildcats saw a 12-point lead with barely three minutes to go shrink to 79-76 with 53 seconds left after Tuti Jones and Kendal Holmes hit back-to-back 3 pointers.
