Chibuzo Agbo hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead USC to an 82-51 win over Southern on Sunday to close out its nonconference schedule by winning its fourth straight game. The Trojans (9-4) will take the holidays off before diving into its Big Ten Conference schedule Jan. 4 when they host No. 24 Michigan. USC opened the game on a 19-4 run and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Dillon Mitchell added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Day Day Thomas finished with 12 points for the Bearcats (10-1). Ernest Ross scored 16 points, and Mikale Stevenson added 11 points and seven rebounds for Grambling (2-10), which lost its fifth straight game overall and seventh straight on the road.

Newcomer Montgomery scores 21 and Georgia holds off Charleston Southern 81-65 to improve to 11-1

De’Shayne Montgomery scored 22 points in his second game of the season and Georgia defeated Charleston Southern 81-65 on Sunday, continuing one of the best starts to a season in program history. The Bulldogs are 11-1 for the first time since the 2001-02 season. Montgomery, a sophomore transfer from Mount St. Mary's, was ruled ineligible for the first nine games of the season due to transfer rules.

Ousmane was 9-for-9 at the free throw line and the Cowboys converted 31 of 39 at the line to offset the Golden Eagles, who were 12 of 30 from behind the 3-point line. Luke Gray dunked and followed up with a three-point play to pull Oral Roberts within four points, 48-44 with just under 15 minutes left to play.
