Darius Hannah scored 18 points while going 7 of 10 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 3 for 3 from the line and added nine rebounds and four blocks.

Ian Schieffelin scored 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting, Chase Hunter added 19 points on Saturday night to help Clemson beat California 80-68. Chauncey Wiggins scored 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting for Clemson (12-3, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference). Cal (7-7, 0-3) has lost three consecutive games and six of its last seven.

Bubu Benjamin scored 21 points to lead Tarleton State over UT Arlington 77-74 on Saturday night. Benjamin went 8 of 16 from the field (3 for 6 from 3-point range) for the Texans (6-10, 1-0 Western Athletic Conference). Dantwan Grimes totaled 18 points and three steals.

Madison Conner scored 29 points, Sedona Prince added 21 and No. TCU rolled to an 81-66 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday night. TCU is 15-1 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 Conference play, each for the first time in program history.

Tre Donaldson and Nimari Burnett scored 16 apiece for Michigan with Donaldson adding six assists. Roddy Gayle Jr. had 12 points and Vladislav Goldin scored 11. Desmond Claude and Wesley Yates III both scored 19 to lead the Trojans (9-5, 1-2).

Michigan basketball's big combo of Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin fueled a 13-0 run in the second half to power the Wolverines over USC, 85-74.

Cesare Edwards shot 6 of 13 from the field and 8 for 10 from the line to finish with 20 points.

Zhuric Phelps had 18 points and Pharrel Payne added 15 to lead No. 13 Texas A&M to an 80-60 win over Texas in the Southeastern Conference opener for both schools Saturday night. Texas A&M (12-2, 1-0 SEC) extended its winning streak to eight games in the first on-campus meeting between these rivals since 2012. Phelps led the way in that stretch with six points and a steal.

Jalen Jackson's 25 points helped Purdue Fort Wayne defeat Youngstown State 90-81 on Saturday night. Jackson also contributed five rebounds and seven assists for the Mastodons (11-6, 4-2 Horizon League). Chandler Cuthrell scored 19 points while shooting 8 for 17 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds.

Donovan Newby had 17 points in UNC Wilmington's 77-69 win against Campbell on Saturday night. Newby shot 2 of 7 from the field, including 2 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 11 for 11 from the free-throw line for the Seahawks (11-4, 1-1 Coastal Athletic Association). Khamari McGriff scored 15 points and added seven rebounds.

Sam Sherry scored 20 points while finishing 10 of 13 from the floor and added 12 rebounds. TJ Simpkins shot 2 of 6 from the field and 7 of 10 from the free-throw line to finish with 11 points. The Pirates (8-7, 1-2) were led in scoring by Daniel Johnson, who finished with 15 points and three steals.

Stefan Todorovic scored 29 points to lead Pepperdine over Pacific 87-70 on Saturday night, handing the Tigers their ninth loss in a row. Todorovic added six rebounds for the Waves (7-10, 1-3 West Coast Conference). Jaxon Olvera shot 8 for 13 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 1 of 3 from the free-throw line to add 19 points.
