HOUSTON 70, UTAH 36 HOUSTON (AP) — Milos Uzan scored 14 points, L.J. Cryer added 13 points and No. Houston routed Utah for its 11th straight win. J'Wan Roberts had 11 points and Terrance Arceneaux scored 10 points for the Cougars (15-3, 7-0 Big 12).

Bennett Stirtz scored 24 points as Drake beat Valparaiso 81-71 on Wednesday night. Stirtz also contributed nine assists, five rebounds and three steals for the Bulldogs (17-2, 7-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Mitch Mascari shot 7 for 12, including 5 for 9 from beyond the arc to add 21 points.

Allen Mukeba scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Tuburu Niavalurua also scored 22 points and Oakland beat Purdue Fort Wayne 76-72 on Wednesday night. Niavalurua added eight rebounds for the Golden Grizzlies (9-12, 6-4 Horizon League). Jaylen Jones finished with 12 points.

Ahmad Robinson scored 33 points, including two free throws with seven seconds left, and Mercer rallied to beat UNC Greensboro 79-78 on Wednesday night. Mercer trailed 67-54 with 7:30 left. Robinson added five rebounds, six assists, and five steals for the Bears (10-10, 3-4 Southern Conference).

Zuby Ejiofor scored six of his 16 points in overtime and No. 20 St. John's erased a 16-point deficit in the second half to rally past Xavier 79-71 on Wednesday night. Kadary Richmond had a season-high 19 points for the Red Storm (17-3, 8-1 Big East). Returning to the AP Top 25 this week with its highest ranking in a decade, St. John's moved back into first place in the conference standings, a half-game ahead of No. 10 Marquette.

Toyaz Solomon had 16 points in UNC Asheville's 61-53 win against Gardner-Webb on Wednesday night. Solomon also contributed seven rebounds for the Bulldogs (14-6, 5-1 Big South Conference). Josh Banks added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Jackson Sivills scored 19 points as Wofford beat The Citadel 79-68 on Wednesday night. Sivills also contributed five rebounds for the Terriers (11-9, 5-2 Southern Conference). Kyler Filewich scored 12 points and added five rebounds.

Greg Jones led American with 14 points and Lincoln Ball sank a game-winning jumper from the free-throw line just before the buzzer as the Eagles defeated Lehigh 68-67 on Wednesday night. Jones shot 4 of 5 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Eagles (11-9, 5-2 Patriot League). Eric Michaels scored 13 points while finishing 6 of 8 from the floor.

Kam Woods hit a go-ahead jumper with two seconds left and scored 17 to rally Robert Morris to a 72-70 victory over Youngstown State on Wednesday night. Woods added seven assists, six rebounds and five steals for the Colonials (14-7, 6-4 Horizon League). Amarion Dickerson scored 15 points while shooting 4 of 9 from the floor and 7 for 8 from the free-throw line.

AJ Ferguson's 22 points helped Murray State defeat Southern Illinois 74-64 on Wednesday night. Ferguson also added eight rebounds for the Racers (11-9, 5-4 Missouri Valley Conference). Nick Ellington scored 14 points and added seven rebounds and three blocks.

Paige Bueckers had 21 points, eight rebounds and nine assists in just three quarters to help No. 6 UConn rout Villanova 100-57 on Wednesday night.

Ty Berry made seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points, Brooks Barnhizer added 21 points and Northwestern beat Indiana 79-70 on Wednesday night. Northwestern pulled away with a 21-4 run for a 70-56 lead with 3:12 to play. Jalen Leach made three of the Wildcat's five 3s during the stretch.

Nik Graves scored 19 points as Charlotte beat South Florida 69-61 on Wednesday night. Graves added eight rebounds for the 49ers (8-12, 1-6 American Athletic Conference). Kylan Blackmon scored 15 points and added seven rebounds.

Chase Hunter scored 23 points, Viktor Lakhin added 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Clemson defeated Syracuse 86-72 on Wednesday night. The Tigers shot 58% in the first half and turned nine Syracuse turnovers into 14 points. Hunter scored 18 points in the half on 7-of-9 shooting, hitting 4 of 5 3-pointers.
