Duke’s third-year coach has talked throughout the season of having a “fastball and splinker” in respect to centers Khaman Maluach and Maliq Brown. The difference there is in the sizes; Maluach as the 7-2, 250-pound rim protector and Brown (6-9, 222) as the smaller, still-disruptive option. Naturally, with Duke basically unveiling a 2-3 zone defense for the first time in Saturday’s win at Wake Forest, there needed to be a distinction on what pitch that was.

Jordan Pennick scored 20 points as Navy beat Army 66-53 on Sunday night. Pennick added five rebounds for the Midshipmen (7-14, 4-4 Patriot League). Austin Benigni scored 18 points and added six rebounds.

Ta’niya Latson scored at the buzzer and finished with 25 points as Florida State continued to dominate North Carolina on its home floor with an 86-84 victory over the 13th-ranked Tar Heels on Sunday.

Brice Williams had 11 points to lead Nebraska (12-8, 2-7). Wisconsin transfer Connor Essegian scored eight points while facing his former team for the first time. NO.

Kylan Boswell scored 17 points and had six rebounds to lead No. 17 Illinois over Northwestern 83-74 on Sunday. Morez Johnson Jr. had 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots, Ben Humrichous had 14 points, Kasparas Jakucionis had 11 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists and Jake Davis added 11 points from the bench for Illinois (14-6, 6-4 Big Ten).

PJ Haggerty scored 23 points, Dain Dainja had a season-high 21 points and eight rebounds and No. 24 Memphis shot 62% in a 100-77 victory over UAB on Sunday.

Jared Garcia led Tulsa past Wichita State on Sunday with 22 points off of the bench in an 84-77 victory. Garcia shot 6 for 10 (5 for 6 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Golden Hurricane (9-11, 3-4 American Athletic Conference). Dwon Odom added 17 points while finishing 8 of 10 from the floor while he also had nine rebounds, 10 assists, and three blocks.

Chance McMillian scored 14 points to help Texas Tech beat Oklahoma State 64-54 on Sunday. Federiko Federiko added eight points, eight rebounds and two blocks for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech (15-4, 6-2 Big 12) has won four games in a row and six of its last seven.

Brenen Lorient scored 17 points off of the bench to help lead North Texas past Florida Atlantic 77-64 on Sunday. Lorient shot 7 of 11 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line for the Mean Green (15-4, 6-1 American Athletic Conference). Atin Wright scored 17 points while shooting 6 for 13, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc.

The 2024-25 college basketball season has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the Arkansas Razorbacks (12-8, 1-6 SEC), with the most recent game being a loss to the Oklahoma Sooners (15-4, 2-4 SEC) on Saturday night at Bud Walton Arena. There weren't a ton of positives from the loss, but one bright spot has been the play of Croatian center Zvonimir Ivisic, who put in a solid day's work for the Razorbacks. Calipari brought Ivisic in over the offseason to bolster the Razorbacks' frontcourt along with Tennessee transfer Jonas Aidoo.

The Terrapins (16-5, 6-4) earned their third straight Big Ten Conference win and their second straight on the road. Indiana (14-7, 5-5) has lost four of its last five.

Wisconsin shot 17 of 37 from 3-point range to match its third-highest, single-game total for 3-pointers in school history.

Lauren Betts scored a career-high 33 points, Kiki Rice added 19, and No. 1 UCLA defeated No. 8 Maryland 82-67 on Sunday. The Bruins (20-0, 8-0 Big Ten) have won their last 19 games by double figures. Saylor Poffenbarger had 18 points for the Terrapins (16-4, 6-3), who have dropped three in a row.

Josh Rivera scored 16 points and secured the victory with a 3-pointer with 24 seconds left as Fordham defeated Duquesne on Sunday.
