Dylan Harper scored a career-high 36 points and Rutgers held off Notre Dame for an 85-84 overtime victory on Tuesday night in the Players Era Festival. Rutgers jumped out to an 81-75 lead with 50 seconds left in overtime before Notre Dame's Matt Allocco hit three straight 3-pointers within 30 seconds, the last a step-back contested 3, that tied it 84-all with 12.4 seconds to go. But on the ensuing possession, Cole Certa fouled Harper, sending him to the line with 11 seconds remaining.

Johni Broome had 23 points and 19 rebounds to lead No. 4 Auburn to an 85-72 victory over No. 12 North Carolina in a Maui Invitational semifinal Tuesday night. Miles Kelly added 15 points and Chad Baker-Mazara scored 14 for the Tigers (6-0), who never trailed and led by as many as 19. Broome scored 18 points in the first half and finished 9 of 18 from the field.

Da'Sean Nelson had 20 points in Eastern Michigan's 72-68 victory over Northern Arizona on Tuesday. Nelson also had seven rebounds for the Eagles (5-2). Christian Henry shot 5 of 11 from the field, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 5 from the line to add 15 points.

Dominating in every facet, UCLA displayed plenty of life during a rout of Southern Utah that was also its fifth straight win.

Growth isn’t linear and after Duke proved in the first game of its western road trip how much it’d grown from its first big game to its second one, the Blue Devils’ third big game was a reminder of how much further they need to go. Isaiah Hawthorne scored 27 points as Northern Colorado beat Northern New Mexico 92-50 on Tuesday. Hawthorne shot 8 of 13 from the field, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 8 from the line for the Bears (6-2). Brock Wisne scored 11 points and added five rebounds.

Boopie Miller's basket with 2.1 seconds left gave SMU a 79-77 win over California Baptist on Tuesday at the Acrisure Holiday Invitational after the Mustangs blew a 16-point second-half lead. The Lancers (4-3) rallied behind Kendal Coleman, who scored 25 of his career-high 32 points in the second half when they tied the game seven times, the final time on Dominique Daniels Jr.'s drive with 15.7 seconds left. Out of an SMU (5-2) timeout, Miller took the inbounds pass and worked the clock down before coming off a ball screen and putting in about a 10-foot floater.

Dajuan Harris scored 14 points and top-ranked Kansas withstood the ejection of star center Hunter Dickinson to beat No. 11 Duke 75-72 in the Vegas Showdown on Tuesday night.

Mark Sears scored 24 points and No. 9 Alabama beat No. 6 Houston 85-80 in overtime on Tuesday night in the opener of the Players Era Festival.
