Ty Harper had 16 points in Youngstown State's 80-70 victory against Wright State on Wednesday night. Harper shot 5 for 8 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Penguins (7-5, 3-0 Horizon League). Jason Nelson shot 5 for 10 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line to add 15 points.

Donovan Newby had 21 points in UNC Wilmington's 79-66 win over FGCU on Wednesday night. Newby shot 7 of 13 from the field, including 4 for 9 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line for the Seahawks (8-3). Noah Ross added 12 points while going 5 of 9 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and also had six rebounds and five assists.

Alex Karaban had seven of his 20 points in overtime to lead No. 11 UConn to a 94-89 victory over Xavier on Wednesday night in the Big East opener for both teams

Trey Robinson and Randall Pettus II both scored 19 points as Northern Kentucky beat Detroit Mercy 73-60 on Wednesday night. Robinson had five rebounds for the Norse (6-6, 2-0 Horizon League). Pettus II shot 6 of 10 from the field, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 8 from the line.

Quimari Peterson's 19 points helped East Tennessee State defeat Elon 84-58 on Wednesday night. Peterson also contributed six assists for the Buccaneers (7-5). Jaden Seymour scored 17 points while shooting 7 of 14 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line and added six rebounds, five assists, and three blocks.

Gerald Drumgoole Jr.'s 30 points led George Washington over Lafayette 82-62 on Wednesday night. Drumgoole shot 10 for 15 (6 for 11 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line for the Revolutionaries (10-2). Trey Autry shot 5 for 8, including 0 for 3 from beyond the arc to add 12 points.

Nick Fiorillo's 21 points helped Vermont defeat Miami (OH) 75-67 on Wednesday night. Fiorillo added five rebounds for the Catamounts (6-7). TJ Hurley shot 6 for 11 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line to add 20 points.

Ayoka Lee scored 19 of her 34 points before halftime and Serena Sundell scored 18 points and No. 13 Kansas State beat New Mexico State 83-39 on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-6 Lee finished 14-for-18 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Molly Kaiser scored 15 points for New Mexico State.

Jamal Mashburn Jr. led Temple with 19 points and Elijah Gray scored the game-winning layup with four seconds remaining as the Owls knocked off Davidson 62-61 on Wednesday night. Mashburn shot 7 of 16 from the field, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Owls (7-4). Gray scored 13 points and added six rebounds.
