Tyson Degenhart had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Andrew Meadow added 18 points and Boise State defeated Clemson 84-71 on Sunday, extending the Broncos' nonconference home winning streak to 15 games. After leading by one point at halftime, Boise State went up by eight when Emmanuel Ugbo scored six straight points for a 51-43 lead with 13 1/2 minutes remaining in the second half. The lead reached 11 points when Julian Bowie made a layup and Javan Buchanan followed with a 3-pointer for a 64-53 lead with 7 1/2 minutes to go.

Matthew Cleveland scored 15 points to lead six players in double figures and Miami rolled to a 93-63 victory over winless Coppin State on Sunday. Cleveland sank 6 of 10 shots with three 3-pointers for the Hurricanes (3-0), adding seven rebounds. Brandon Johnson finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots for Miami.

Mikey Lewis hit two free throws with five seconds left to give Saint Mary's a three-point lead, Brice Williams missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer to tie and the Gaels earned a 77-74 win over Nebraska in a neutral-site game played in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Sunday afternoon. Lewis hit a jumper and knocked down a 3 with 4:13 left to give Saint Mary’s a double-digit lead, 73-63, but the Cornhuskers clawed back behind four free throws from Williams, a tip-in and 1 of 2 free throws by Berke Buyuktuncel, and a Rollie Worster layup to make it 75-72 with under a minute left.

Rick Pitino defeated his son in their latest coaching clash as No. 22 St. John's passed its first real test this season, topping New Mexico 85-71 on Sunday behind 21 points and 11 rebounds from RJ Luis Jr. Deivon Smith added 15 points and all five starters scored in double figures for the Red Storm (4-0) to make a winner of their Hall of Fame coach in a family affair at Madison Square Garden. Richard Pitino, coach of the Lobos, fell to 1-3 in matchups against his father.

Noah Collier scored 19 points and William & Mary defeated Georgia Southern 102-87 on Sunday. Collier also contributed seven rebounds for the Tribe (3-3). Gabe Dorsey scored 17 points, going 6 of 14 (5 for 13 from 3-point range).

Markhi Strickland had 15 points in Western Michigan's 92-69 win against Canisius on Sunday. Strickland shot 6 of 9 from the field and 2 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Broncos (2-3). Owen Lobsinger added 14 points while shooting 5 for 9, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc while he also had nine rebounds.

Smikle made nine of 12 shots and added four rebounds. Sarah Te-Biasu scored 13 points, Saylor Poffenbarger had 12 off the bench and Allie Kubek scored 10. India Johnston made five 3-pointers and scored 22 points for the Tigers (0-4).

North Dakota State Bison (2-2) at Southern Illinois Salukis (1-2) Carbondale, Illinois; Monday, 8 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Southern Illinois faces North Dakota State after Elijah Elliott scored 21 points in Southern Illinois' 85-78 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Southern Illinois finished 19-13 overall with a 13-5 record at home during the 2023-24 season.

Tre Coleman scored 21 points as Nevada beat Santa Clara 85-59 on Saturday. Coleman shot 6 of 7 from the field, including 3 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 9 from the foul line for the Wolf Pack (4-0). Nick Davidson added 18 points while shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 6 for 10 from the free-throw line and grabbed eight rebounds.

Bennett Stirtz scored 25 points to lead Drake and Daniel Abreu sealed the victory with a 3-pointer with 24 seconds remaining as the Bulldogs knocked off FGCU 63-61 on Saturday. Stirtz also had seven rebounds and three steals for the Bulldogs (3-0). Abreu scored 17 points, shooting 5 for 10 (4 for 7 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line.

Brian Moore Jr.'s 20 points helped Norfolk State defeat Hampton 67-58 on Saturday. Moore shot 7 for 10 (2 for 3 from 3-point range) and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line for the Spartans (4-1). Christian Ings added 16 points while going 4 of 8 from the floor, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and 6 for 7 from the foul line while he also had seven assists.

Devin Tillis scored 25 points as UC Irvine beat Pepperdine 80-62 on Saturday. Tillis added 11 rebounds for the Anteaters (4-0). Justin Hohn added 11 points while shooting 4 for 15, including 1 for 6 from beyond the arc while he also had five rebounds.

Po'Boigh King had 22 points in North Carolina Central's 78-76 victory against William & Mary on Saturday at the Rock Hill Classic. King shot 8 for 16, including 4 for 10 from beyond the arc for the Eagles (1-4). Keishon Porter scored 14 points, going 5 of 8 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 2 for 4 from the foul line.

Kobe Newton's 19 points helped Wyoming defeat Utah Tech 86-69 on Saturday night. Newton shot 6 of 12 from the field, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 6 from the line for the Cowboys (3-1). Jordan Nesbitt scored 12 points while going 3 of 8 and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line and added 12 rebounds.

Duke Deen's 16 points helped Bradley defeat Northern Illinois 76-60 on Saturday night. Deen also added five rebounds and five assists for the Braves (3-1). Darius Hannah finished 7 of 9 from the floor to add 15 points.
