Asa Newell scored 17 points, Silas Demary Jr. had 15 and Georgia remained unbeaten with a 93-45 win over Alabama A&M on Tuesday night. Newell, a freshman forward who came in averaging 16.8 points per game to lead the Bulldogs, was 7 of 8 from the floor while Demary made 9 of 11 free throws. Georgia (5-0) extended its home win streak versus nonconference opponents to 22.

Jaxson Robinson scored 20 points and No. 9 Kentucky shot 55% to roll past Lipscomb 97-68 on Tuesday night. Lamont Butler added 16 points, Otega Oweh had 14 and Koby Brea scored 12 off the bench for the Wildcats (4-0), who led 20-6 after eight minutes and didn't let up. The rout came a day after Kentucky vaulted 10 spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, a jump helped by a 77-72 win over No. 6 Duke in Atlanta that gave first-year coach Mark Pope a signature win.

Graham Ike bounced back from early foul trouble to score 20 of his 23 points in the second half, and Ryan Nembhard added 19 points and 10 assists as No. 3 Gonzaga ran past San Diego State 80-67 on Monday night in a showdown of future Pac-12 opponents. Sixth man Braden Nuff had 10 points for Gonzaga (4-0), which was playing away from Spokane for the first time this season. The Zags avenged an 84-74 loss to SDSU last year, which snapped their 59-game nonconference winning streak.

Cedric Coward scored 30 points to match his career high and Washington State beat Northern Colorado 83-69 on Monday night. Coward sank 12 of 18 shots with two 3-pointers and 4 of 5 free throws for the Cougars (4-1). He also scored 30 against Northern Colorado last season while playing for the Eastern Washington Eagles.
