The Utes shot 48%, scored 18 points off turnovers and were plus-14 on the boards, led by Miro Little's 11 rebounds.

Jamir Watkins scored 19 points, Malique Ewin set career highs with 15 points and nine rebounds and Florida State beat Temple 78-69 on Friday to begin the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off. Florida State (5-1) has a day off before facing UMass on Sunday. Temple (3-2) faces the Minutemen on Saturday.

Creighton (2-2) has won eight of the last nine meetings with Nebraska. Nebraska (5-1) was without last year’s Big Ten freshman of the year, Natalie Potts, after she suffered a season-ending ACL injury on Tuesday against North Alabama.

Former Temple basketball standout Hysier Miller sat for a long interview with the NCAA as it looked into concerns about unusual gambling activity, his lawyer said Friday amid reports a federal probe is now under way. “Hysier did these things because he wanted to play basketball this season, and he is devastated that he cannot.”

Oklahoma State led 43-27 at halftime after making 8 of 15 from 3-point range, while Miami was just 8 of 27 overall.

Rashad King led Northeastern with 19 points, including the game-winning layup with three seconds remaining, and the Huskies beat Florida International 60-58 on Friday. King added eight rebounds for the Huskies (4-1). Harold Woods added 12 points while shooting 5 of 11 from the field and 2 for 4 from the line while he also had five rebounds.

Mitch Mascari's 22 points helped Drake defeat Florida Atlantic 75-63 on Friday. Mascari shot 6 for 9 (6 for 8 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Bulldogs (5-0). Bennett Stirtz scored 17 points and added six assists.
