Gytis Nemeiksa's 18 points off of the bench helped lead Hawaii to a 76-66 victory over Pacific on Monday night at the Rainbow Classic. Nemeiksa added 10 rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (3-0). Marcus Greene added 18 points while shooting 6 for 12 (0 for 5 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line while they also had seven rebounds.

Boopie Miller scored 21 points with seven assists, B. J. Edwards had 17 points, and SMU defeated UNC-Greensboro 81-68 on Monday night. Miller scored 13 points in the second half and the Mustangs (3-0) pushed a six-point halftime lead to 14 points halfway through the period. After an unusual stretch of nearly five minutes in which all 14 points were scored at the free-throw line, Malik Henry threw down a dunk that got Greensboro within 65-54.

McKneely gives Virginia a fast start, Cavaliers roll to a 62-45 victory over Coppin State

Isaac McKneely hit three straight 3-pointers in the closing minutes of the first half to push Virginia to a double-digit halftime lead and the Cavaliers cruised to a 62-45 win over Coppin State on Monday night. Virginia is now 2-0 to start the season under interim head coach Ron Sanchez, who was promoted less than a month ago after former coach Tony Bennett's surprise retirement. McKneely, one of just two returning starters with Andrew Rohde, scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half, all coming from beyond the 3-point arc.
