Rice scores 19 points and Indiana rolls past Sam Houston 97-71

Malik Reneau scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds with five assists and Indiana defeated Sam Houston 97-71 on Tuesday night. Myles Rice led the Hoosiers (6-2) with 19 points and Luke Goode came off the bench to hit five 3-pointers and score 18 points, 13 in the first half when Indiana took a 42-25 lead. Lamar Wilkerson scored 18 points, Cameron Huefner added 17, Dorian Finister 14 and Brennen Burns and Josiah Hammons 10 each for Sam Houston, which shot 43%.

Beale scores 25 off the bench, Hampton knocks off N.C. A&T 82-71

George Beale helped lead Hampton over North Carolina A&T on Tuesday night with 25 points off of the bench in an 82-71 win. Beale shot 9 of 16 from the field, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Pirates (4-5, 1-0 Coastal Athletic Association). Tyler Rice scored 17 points, going 5 of 8 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 5 for 5 from the line.

Dayton wins 77-69 against Western Michigan

Enoch Cheeks scored 23 points as Dayton beat Western Michigan 77-69 on Tuesday night. Cheeks had eight rebounds for the Flyers (7-2). Nate Santos scored 15 points while shooting 6 for 10, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc and added five rebounds.
