Freshman sensation Cooper Flagg had 22 points and 11 rebounds to help No. 9 Duke push past No. 2 Auburn 84-78 on Wednesday night in the SEC/ACC Challenge. The preseason Associated Press All-American had 16 points after halftime to help the Blue Devils (6-2) hold off the Tigers and fellow All-American Johni Broome. Broome had 20 points and 12 rebounds before fouling out with 15 seconds left for the Tigers (7-1), who missed seven straight shots in the final 4 1/2 minutes.

Prince Aligbe had 19 points in Seton Hall's 67-56 win over NJIT on Wednesday night. Aligbe also had eight rebounds for the Pirates (5-4). Dylan Addae-Wusu shot 3 for 11 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line to add 12 points.

Jacksen Moni had 22 points in North Dakota State's 77-73 win against Weber State on Wednesday night. Moni shot 8 for 12, including 4 for 5 from beyond the arc for the Bison (6-4). Jacari White added 20 points while going 5 of 11 from the floor, including 3 for 8 from 3-point range, and 7 for 10 from the line and also had nine rebounds.

Nique Clifford scored 19 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had six assists as Colorado State beat Loyola Marymount 83-54 on Wednesday night. Jalen Lake and Kyan Evans added 14 points apiece with each making four 3-pointers for the Rams (5-3). Will Johnston led the Lions (3-4) in scoring, finishing with 12 points.

The ACC went 2-14 against the SEC.

Hunter Jack Madden scored 24 points as Abilene Christian beat New Mexico State 78-70 on Wednesday night. Madden shot 6 for 10 (5 for 8 from 3-point range) and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line for the Wildcats (6-3). Quion Williams scored 20 points and added eight rebounds.

A 3-pointer by David Skrogman had DePaul within nine points with about 4 1/2 minutes remaining, but McMillian hit back-to-back jumpers and Texas Tech closed out the win on a 9-4 run. Jacob Meyer made 4 of 5 3-pointers and scored 14 points and JJ Traynor 11 for DePaul, which entered the game undefeated through seven games. The Red Raiders scored the game's first 14 points and led 17-2.

Zion Bethea's 16 points helped Pepperdine defeat Life Pacific 119-57 on Wednesday night. Bethea also contributed five assists and four steals for the Waves (3-6). Stefan Todorovic scored 16 points, shooting 6 for 11, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc.

KeShawn Murphy scored a season-high 20 points and Mississippi State led from start to finish in thumping No. 18 Pittsburgh 90-57 on Wednesday night in the SEC/ACC Challenge. Mississippi State (7-1) opened a 35-point advantage in the second half and was never threatened. Michael Nwoko had his first double-double of the season with a career-high 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Quincy Ballard scored 14 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked three shots as Wichita State beat Alcorn State 78-54 on Wednesday night. AJ McGinnis made four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for the Shockers (7-1). Corey Washington finished with 10 points.

Jason Edwards scored 19 points, MJ Collins added 15 and Vanderbilt cruised to an 80-64 victory over Virginia Tech on Wednesday night in the SEC/ACC Challenge. Edwards and Collins were a combined 10-of-22 shooting from the floor and each made three of Vanderbilt's nine 3-pointers. The Commodores shot above 50% in each half and finished 29 of 55 (53%) overall.

Top-ranked Kansas suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday, falling to Creighton in Omaha.

Isaacs helped unranked Creighton upset No. 1 Kansas 76-63, scoring a season-high 27 points.

Gilbert sustained a nose injury late in the game but returned to help the Cyclones finish the game.

Mark Sears scored 20 points as Alabama beat North Carolina 94-79 on Wednesday night in the ACC-SEC Challenge.
