Great Osobor and DJ Davis each scored 18 points and Washington rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat Seattle Pacific 77-62 on Wednesday night. Osobor added eight rebounds and a career-high seven steals. Davis made 4 of 7 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the second half for Washington (2-1).

Deuce Turner's 24 points off of the bench helped UC Santa Barbara to a 91-86 victory over Fresno State on Wednesday. Turner shot 4 of 10 from the field, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 15 for 16 from the line for the Gauchos (3-0). Jason Fontenet II scored 18 points and added six rebounds.

Desmond Claude scored 26 points and made consecutive shots down the stretch to help Southern California beat UT Arlington 98-95 on Wednesday night. Claude made a layup and jumper to give USC a 94-90 lead with 19 seconds left. Jaxon Ellingsworth hit a 3-pointer to pull UTA to 94-93 with 12 seconds to go before Terrance Williams II and Saint Thomas each made a pair of free throws.

Amaree Abram had 19 points in Louisiana Tech's 76-66 win over UMass on Wednesday. Abram also contributed six rebounds and three steals for the Bulldogs (3-0). Sean Newman Jr. added 14 points and 12 assists.

Xavier Dusell scored 17 points as Nevada beat Weber State 88-58 on Wednesday. Dusell went 6 of 9 from the field (5 for 7 from 3-point range) for the Wolf Pack (3-0). Justin McBride scored 16 points while shooting 5 for 9 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.

In their return to the national rankings, Rick Pitino and his St. John's team didn't exactly look ready for prime time. Deivon Smith drained a 3-pointer midway through the second half to spark an 18-0 spurt that propelled No. 22 St. John's past Wagner 66-45 on Wednesday night for its first victory as a Top 25 team in almost 10 years. “I’m impressed, even though we’re much more talented than Wagner,” said Pitino, the Hall of Fame coach in his second season with the Red Storm.
