The No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks (3-1) managed to earn a 91-72 victory over the Pacific Tigers (3-3) on Monday evening at Bud Walton Arena despite being down two scholarship players. Offense wasn't the issue for the Razorbacks, as they shot 59.6% from the field and 42.9% from three in the contest. Junior forward Adou Thiero led the team with 23 points, six rebounds, two assists and four steals.

Ismael Leggett scored 14 points and Jaland Lowe put up a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as Pittsburgh won its fourth straight home game to open the season, romping past VMI in a Greenbrier Tip-Off home game on Monday night. VMI has completed its River Division of the tournament after losing to Tennessee Tech 72-71 Friday, then beating Charleston Southern 80-69 to finish third. Pitt travels to Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Friday to face LSU.

Barry Evans finished with 25 points to help Bryant hold on for an 85-84 victory over Delaware on Monday night. Evans added eight rebounds for the Bulldogs (3-1). Earl Timberlake totaled 14 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Ayoka Lee and Zyanna Walker scored 16 points apiece, Kansas State used a big run midway through the first half to take control, and the No. 10 Wildcats rolled to a 73-43 victory over Little Rock on Monday night. Eliza Maupin and Taryn Sides added 10 points each for the Wildcats, who have won the first four games on their season-opening five-game homestand in lopsided fashion, but who will get a much stiffer test against No. 14 Duke next week in Nevada. Little Rock (1-3) led 13-12 late in the first quarter before Kansas State went on a 13-1 run stretching into the second quarter, then continued to extend the advantage.

Ben Middlebrooks finished with 19 points off the bench and Marcus Hill scored 17 to lead NC State to a 72-49 victory over Colgate on Monday night. Middlebrooks sank 5 of 8 shots from the floor and all nine of his free throws for the Wolfpack (4-0). Hill made 6 of 10 shots and 5 of 6 at the foul line.

Nimari Burnett scored a season high 18 points and Auburn transfer Tre Donaldson matched his career high with 16 as Michigan roared away from Miami (OH) in the second half to post a 94-67 win in an opening-round game in the Fort Myers Tipoff tournament Monday night. Michigan is one of four teams in the Beach Division, joining South Carolina and Xavier and the Wolverines take on Virginia Tech on Monday. Miami (OH) is in the Palms Division, joining Jacksonville and Mercer and will face Siena on Monday.

Michigan basketball was down by three late in the first half, but used a 61-28 burst against Miami (Ohio) to flip the game in a 94-67 victory.

The rest of the top 10 turned into a jumble of teams swapping places.

The Arkansas basketball team saw more downward movement to No. 20 in the second regular season update of the AP Top 25 poll. Arkansas opened the season ranked 16th in the preseason poll and it moved down to 18th after a 1-1 first week with a win over Lipscomb and a loss to Baylor.

Cooper Flagg committed a pair of costly turnovers late in Duke's narrow loss to Kentucky last week.

Kansas strengthened its grip on No. 1 in the AP Top 25. The Jayhawks picked up five first-place votes in The Associated Press men's college basketball poll released on Monday, receiving 49 from a 61-person media panel. Iowa State climbed two spots to round out the top five.

Kansas still No. in men's AP Top 25 but top 10 gets an overhaul as Alabama, Duke, Arizona drop; Wisconsin joins poll.

Kansas retains its top position in the USA TODAY Sports men's basketball poll, while Purdue, Kentucky make major moves forward after big wins.
