Charleston (SC) Cougars (6-1) at Jacksonville State Gamecocks (4-3) Jacksonville, Alabama; Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Charleston (SC) visits Jacksonville State after Taryn Barbot scored 35 points in Charleston (SC)'s 86-45 win over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. The Gamecocks have gone 3-0 in home games.

Josh Uduje scored 21 and Robert Vaihola posted a double-double to help San Jose State beat Lincoln University CA 117-80 on Monday night. Uduje made 8 of 13 shots and all five of his free throws for the Spartans (5-6). Vaihola totaled 17 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.

Jayden Nunn had 18 points and Baylor made its first 10 shots in an 88-57 victory over Abilene Christian on Monday night. Nunn sank 7 of 12 shots — 4 for 4 from 3-point range — for the Bears (6-3), who improved to 4-0 at home. V.J. Edgecombe added 14 points, six boards and four steals.

Cruz Davis and Kijan Robinson scored 20 points apiece to help Hofstra defeat Norfolk State 80-67 on Monday night. Davis shot 6 of 10 from the field, including 5 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 5 from the line for the Pride (8-3). Robinson shot 7 of 12 (4 for 9 from 3-point range).

Oumar Ballo had 18 points, Malik Reneau and Bryson Tucker both scored 16 and Indiana breezed to an 82-67 victory over Minnesota in the Hoosiers' Big Ten Conference opener Monday night. Ballo made all five of his shots from the floor, adding seven rebounds for the Hoosiers (8-2). He made 8 of 11 at the free-throw line after coming in shooting 54.2% there (26 for 48).

The Arkansas Razorbacks (7-2, 0-0 SEC) are headed to the Big Apple, where they will face the No. 14 Michigan Wolverines (8-1, 2-0 Big 12) on Tuesday night in the iconic Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Arkansas is one of four teams playing in the event, which has been held since 1995 and has been at the Garden since 2003. Arkansas is joined by Michigan, Tennessee and Miami, the latter of which is a team the Razorbacks beat 76-73 just last week on the road.

Tennessee is the new No. 1 in men’s college basketball after a massive shakeup in the AP Top 25.

The past 20 national champions were each ranked in the top 12 in their respective season's Week 6 AP poll.

The Wolverines are ranked in both major polls for the first time in more than two years. They'll be put to the test again Tuesday vs. Arkansas in NYC.

Kansas fell to both Creighton and Missouri this past week.

Tennessee is the new No. 1 in men's college basketball after a massive shakeup in the AP Top 25. Tennessee climbed two spots from last week after Kansas lost twice and Auburn fell to No. 4 Duke. The Tigers remained No. 2 and received three first-place votes.
