Chaz Lanier scored 26 points and Igor Milicic Jr. had 14 points and eight rebounds against his former team as No. 11 Tennessee pulled away from Virginia in the second half for a 64-42 win at the Baha Mar Championship on Thursday night. The Volunteers found themselves locked in a tight contest going to the locker room, their lead trimmed to 22-21 when Virginia’s Andrew Rohde hit a long, straightaway three in the final seconds of the half. Dai Dai Ames led the Cavaliers with 12 points and Rohde added eight, but UVA shot just 28.6% from the floor.

Nate Biddle scored 17 of his career-high 23 points in the second half and grabbed a career-best 14 rebounds as Oregon rallied to defeat its rival Oregon State 78-75 on Thursday night. Jackson Shelstad added 15 points for the Ducks, including a 3-pointer that gave them the lead for good at 74-73 with 2:43 to go and a difficult, contested layup for a 76-73 edge with 29.5 seconds left. Parsa Fallah hit two free throws for the Beavers and Jadrian Tracey made two for the Ducks with 14 seconds to go, but a final 3-pointer by Oregon State's Michael Rataj with seconds remaining was off the mark.

Freshman Jeremiah Wilkinson had 23 points off the bench, Andrej Stojakovic scored 21 and California defeated Air Force 78-69 on Thursday night. Wilkinson, who came into the game with 11 points through the first four games, made 8 of 12 shots from the floor with two 3-pointers for the Golden Bears (4-1). Stojakovic hit 8 of 19 shots with two 3-pointers and grabbed six boards.

Dane Erikstrup had a career-high 24 points with six 3-pointers and Washington State made 16 from the arc in a 96-81 victory over Eastern Washington on Thursday. Erikstrup was 8-of-14 shooting and had eight rebounds for the Cougars (5-1). Cedric Coward added 22 points while going 7 of 12 from the floor, including 3 for 5 from 3-point range, and 5 for 7 from the line and also had nine rebounds and seven assists.

Jeremy Roach reached a Final Four and won Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles during four productive years at Duke. Roach swished a 3-pointer at the buzzer of the second overtime on Thursday night, completing No. 13 Baylor's rally for an improbable 99-98 victory over No. 22 St. John's at the Baha Mar Championship on Thursday night. Roach's fortunes changed quickly in his fifth game for Baylor (4-1).

Erik Reynolds II sank six 3-pointers and scored 26 points, but it was Justice Ajogbor's free throw with 13.7 seconds left that gave Saint Joseph's a 78-77 win over Texas Tech on Thursday night in the UKG Legends Classic. The Hawks (4-1) will take on Texas, a 70-66 winner over Syracuse, in Friday's championship game while the Red Raiders (4-1) will play the Orange. Reynolds made 6 of 11 from the arc.

AJ Hoggard had 18 points and seven assists, Jason Edwards added 16 points and Vanderbilt held off Nevada 73-71 on Thursday night on the opening day of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic. The Commodores (5-0) will play Seton Hall, a 69-66 overtime winner over VCU, in the semifinals on Friday. MJ Collins Jr. added 15 points and Devin McGlockton and Jaylen Carey each had nine points and eight rebounds for Vanderbilt.

Donaldson had five assists and Walters was 3 for 6 from beyond the arc. Vladislav Goldin scored 12. Bubu Benjamin finished with 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting from distance for the Texans (1-5).

Dusty May’s Michigan basketball squad did enough against an overmatched Tarleton State team in a 72-49 win on Thursday night in Ann Arbor.

Fears used 7-for-10 shooting to turn in his best scoring effort thus far for the Sooners (4-0). Glenn Taylor Jr. came off the bench to sink four 3-pointers and scored 16 for Oklahoma. Scooter Williams Jr., Josh Taylor and reserve TJ Thomas all scored nine to pace the Lions (1-5).

Baylor rallied from five points down in the final 18 seconds of the second overtime to beat No. 22 St. John's 99-98 on Thursday night at the Baha Mar Championship. St. John's led 98-93 when Deivon Smith made one of two free throws with 18 seconds left.

Sean Pedulla and Matthew Murrrell each had 19 points, and Mississippi defeated Oral Roberts 100-68 Thursday night as the Rebels remained unbeaten. Five players scored in double figures for Ole Miss (5-0) with Jaemyn Brakefield and Davon Barnes adding 13 apiece, and Mikeal Brown-Jones scoring 12. Oral Roberts (2-4) got 19 points from Darius Robinson Jr., 14 from Sam Alajiki and 13 from Issac McBride.
