East Carolina Pirates (4-4) at Hampton Pirates (2-4) Hampton, Virginia; Thursday, 11 a.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: East Carolina takes on Hampton after Khia Miller scored 24 points in East Carolina's 60-43 win against the Elon Phoenix. The Hampton Pirates are 1-2 on their home court.

The Washington State Cougars are 2-0 on their home court. Washington State is ninth in the WCC with 7.7 offensive rebounds per game led by Tara Wallack averaging 1.8. The BYU Cougars are 2-0 in road games.

Texas Southern Tigers (1-6) at Rice Owls (6-4) Houston; Friday, 12:15 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Texas Southern will try to break its four-game road slide when the Tigers take on Rice. The Owls have gone 5-1 at home.

Omaha Mavericks (4-7) at Northern Iowa Panthers (5-4, 1-0 MVC) Cedar Falls, Iowa; Friday, 8 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Northern Iowa faces Omaha after Jacob Hutson scored 22 points in Northern Iowa's 101-57 win over the Northern Illinois Huskies. The Panthers have gone 4-1 at home.

The Aztecs were facing the Lancers for the first time and have now played all 25 California Division I teams.

The Cougars scored 29 points in the first eight minutes of the half. A 3-pointer by Saunders made it 73-46 with 12 minutes remaining. BYU then missed five shots in a row and went 3 1/2 minutes without scoring as Fresno State got within 73-57.

Koby Brea scored 17 points, including five to cap a critical second-half spurt that rallied No. Kentucky past Colgate 78-67 on Wednesday night. Jaxson Robinson made consecutive 3-pointers to spark the Wildcats' 14-2 run over 7:31 for a 63-49 lead, a surge that included 3s by Trent Noah, Otega Oweh and Brea for the needed cushion.

Jacari Lane had 19 points in North Alabama's 74-67 win against East Carolina on Wednesday night. Lane also contributed five rebounds for the Lions (7-4). Corneilous Williams scored 15 points while going 6 of 8 and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line and added seven rebounds.

Jordan Battle scored 18 points as Coastal Carolina beat Southern Virginia 82-57 on Wednesday night. Battle also contributed five rebounds for the Chanticleers (5-5). Joshua Meo went 6 of 9 from the field (2 for 3 from 3-point range) to add 16 points.

Matt Allocco added 16 points for Notre Dame (6-5), which shot 53% for the game but made only 6 of 21 3-pointers. Notre Dame made 15 of 18 two-point shots in the first half and took a 39-28 lead at halftime. Davis made 7 of 8 shots and scored 14 points and Shrewsberry scored 10 on 4-for-7 shooting.

Trey Robinson's 25 points helped Northern Kentucky defeat Cumberlands (Ky. on Wednesday night. Robinson added seven rebounds for the Norse (4-6, 1-0 Horizon League).

Terrence Edwards Jr. had 22 points, James Scott and J'Vonne Hadley both secured a double-double and Louisville edged UTEP 77-74 on Wednesday night to snap a three-game losing streak. Louisville created some separation midway through the second half by scoring nine straight points, punctuated by back-to-back dunks from freshman Khani Rooths for a 63-55 lead. But UTEP scored eight of the next 10 points to get within two points.
