Malachi Smith delivers late as No. 22 Dayton tops UNLV 66-65

Malachi Smith scored five of his 11 points in the final 37 seconds, including a decisive three-point play, and No. 22 Dayton beat UNLV 66-65 on Tuesday night. Nate Santos had 14 points for the Flyers (10-2), who moved into the AP Top 25 poll this week for the first time this season. Zed Key scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half and freshman Amael L’Etang finished with 10 for Dayton.

Drexel defeats Howard 68-65

Jason Drake had 21 points in Drexel's 68-65 victory over Howard on Tuesday night. Drake shot 8 for 17 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line for the Dragons (8-4). Yame Butler went 6 of 10 from the field (3 for 7 from 3-point range) to add 16 points.

Timko scores 29, Delaware takes down Misericordia 92-75

Erik Timko had 29 points in Delaware's 92-75 victory against Misericordia on Tuesday. Timko shot 8 for 11 (6 for 9 from 3-point range) and 7 of 7 from the free-throw line for the Blue Hens (7-4). John Camden added 14 points while shooting 4 for 8 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line while they also had five rebounds and three steals.

Ejiofor leads St. John’s against DePaul after 22-point game
