Nebraska (8-2) plays the winner between Charlotte and host Hawaii in the second round on Monday. Murray State (6-5) missed its first eight shots and started the game shooting 1 of 16 from the field.

Thomas Sorber's 19 points helped Georgetown defeat Seton Hall 61-60 on Sunday night. Jayden Epps shot 4 of 11 from the field, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 8 from the free-throw line to add 15 points. Micah Peavy shot 4 of 10 from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points.

Kasparas Jakucionis scored 21 points, including the go-ahead basket with 28 seconds left, and Illinois defeated Missouri 80-77 on Sunday in the annual Braggin’ Rights game between the nonconference rivals.

Davis made 6 of 10 shots from the floor and 12 of 14 free throws for the Fighting Irish (7-5), who improved to 6-1 at home. Braeden Shrewsberry totaled 16 points and Logan Imes scored 11 off the bench for Notre Dame. Dwayne Koroma led the Dolphins (5-9) with 22 points on 9-for-11 shooting.

Obi Agbim scored 16 points while shooting 6 for 13 (2 for 9 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. Touko Tainamo shot 5 of 6 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 13 points. The Titans (4-9) were led in scoring by Donovan Oday, who finished with 18 points.

Collin Moore led Grand Canyon with 20 points and Lok Wur scored the game-winning jump shot with one second left as the Antelopes took down Saint Louis 73-72 on Sunday night. Moore had seven rebounds and three blocks for the Antelopes (8-4). Rayshon Harrison scored 16 points while going 6 of 11 (4 for 6 from 3-point range).

Erik Pratt had 20 points to help Milwaukee defeat North Central College 92-57 on Sunday. Pratt shot 5 for 9 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line for the Panthers (9-4). Jamichael Stillwell scored 12 points and added 10 rebounds.

Chibuzo Agbo hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead USC to an 82-51 win over Southern on Sunday to close out its nonconference schedule by winning its fourth straight game. The Trojans (9-4) will take the holidays off before diving into its Big Ten Conference schedule Jan. 4 when they host No. 24 Michigan. USC opened the game on a 19-4 run and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Jayden Taylor scored 16 points to lead N.C. State to an 89-63 romp over Rider on Sunday. Taylor made 5 of 7 shots with 3-pointers and 3 of 5 free throws for the Wolfpack (8-4), who improved to 8-1 at home. Ben Middlebrooks and reserve Breon Pass added 12 points each for NC State.
