Nick Martinelli continued his scoring run with 27 points on 10-for-14 shooting and Northwestern beat Illinois-Chicago 83-74 on Tuesday night. Jalen Leach scored 16 points, Ty Berry had 13 and reserve Luke Hunger added 10 for Northwestern (2-1). Javon Jackson scored 17 points, Sasa Ciani 15, Filip Skobalj 13 and Ahmad Henderson II 12 for the Flames (2-1).

Nyla Harris led a balanced attack with 16 points and No. 18 Louisville defeated UT Martin 86-64 on Tuesday night. Harris was 6-of-8 shooting for the Cardinals (2-1), who shot 71% (17 of 24) in the second half and 57% (31 of 54) for the game despite finishing 4 of 14 on 3-pointers. Olivia Cochran had 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals for Louisville, which plays at No. 20 Kentucky on Saturday.

RJ Godfrey scores 21 with 11 rebounds, Georgia beats North Florida 90-77 at Peach State Classic

Clemson transfer RJ Godfrey scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds and Silas Demary Jr. added 17 points to help Georgia beat North Florida 90-77 Tuesday night at the Peach State Classic. Vanderbilt transfer Tyrin Lawrence scored 15, and freshman Asa Newell, a consensus five-star recruit, had 13 points and eight rebounds for Georgia. Blue Cain added 11 points and Dakota Leffew, an all-Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference selection last season at Mount St. Mary's, scored 10.

Murray-Boyles scores 27 points in 80-54 win over Towson

Collin Murray-Boyles scored 27 points, was a rebound shy of a double-double and led South Carolina to an 80-54 win over Towson on Tuesday night. Murray-Boyles shot 9-of-12 from the floor an 9 of 10 from the line in leading the Gamecocks (2-1), who shot 50%. Jacobi Wright followed up a career high of 20 points against South Carolina State with 16 against the Tigers (1-2).

Bill Self becomes winningest coach in Kansas history, Jayhawks beat Michigan State 77-69

Hunter Dickinson scored 28 points and Bill Self became the winningest coach in Kansas history as the top-ranked Jayhawks pulled away from Michigan State for a 77-69 victory in the Champions Classic on Tuesday night. Spartans forward Jaxon Kohler hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 52 with just under nine minutes remaining. KJ Adams Jr. hit a pair of free throws to put Kansas (3-0) ahead to stay.
