Arkansas never led in the game, which was also dubbed the “Dallas Duel,” and the Hogs only managed to tie the score up on one occasion (44-44). Max Jones knocked down his only 3-pointer of the game with 2:11 left to give the Wildcats a 77-57 lead, David Castillo and Taj Manning both missed from beyond the arc in the final minutes. Jones opened the game by tipping in his own missed layup, but Chase Robinson answered less than a minute later to get the Vikings even.
