Adou Thiero scored 21 points against his former team in his return to Lexington and Arkansas beat No. 12 Kentucky 89-79 on Saturday night. D.J. Wagner scored 17 points and Zvonimir Ivisic added 14 points against their former team as well to lead Arkansas (13-8, 2-6 Southeastern Conference).

Magoon Gwath finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, and San Diego State used a 20-0 run and held off Wyoming for a 63-61 victory on Saturday night. The late run gave the Aztecs a 61-50 lead with 15 seconds left. Wyoming made eight straight free throws to pull to 61-58 with eight seconds to go.

Barry Dunning Jr.'s 18 points helped South Alabama defeat Louisiana 62-58 in overtime on Saturday night. Dunning also had 15 rebounds for the Jaguars (15-8, 7-4 Sun Belt Conference). Myles Corey scored 17 points, going 5 of 13 from the floor, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range, and 5 for 10 from the free-throw line.

Patrick McMahon scored 21 points as Montana State beat Portland State 74-73 on Saturday night. Jaylin Henderson hit a 3-pointer for Portland State with eight seconds left to cap the scoring. McMahon added nine rebounds for the Bobcats (10-13, 5-5 Big Sky Conference).

Wade Taylor IV had 25 points and tied his career high with seven 3-pointers as No. 13 Texas A&M held off South Carolina 76-72 on Saturday night. The Aggies (17-5, 6-3 Southeastern Conference) looked like they had this one going away after Taylor’s sixth 3 early in the second half gave them a 49-36 lead.

Solo Ball scored a career-high 25 points while shooting 7-of-9 from three-point range as No. 25 UConn never trailed in a 77-69 victory over No. 9 Marquette on Saturday night.

Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland watched the No. 22 Red Raiders' 82-81 overtime victory over No. 6 Houston on Saturday from the locker room after he was ejected less than four minutes into the game. McCasland was assessed two technical fouls for arguing a flagrant 2 call on JT Toppin after Toppin appeared to kick Houston’s Joseph Tugler in the midsection on a jump pass. “This is genuinely my thought: JT Toppin is a left-handed basketball player, and we worked against the double team,” McCasland said after the game.

Solo Ball scored a career-high 25 points while shooting 7 of 9 from 3-point range as UConn never trailed in a 77-69 victory over No. Marquette on Saturday night. Ball's seven 3-pointers matched a career high.

Matthew Cleveland scored 21 points and Lynn Kidd added 15 on 7-of-9 shooting on Saturday night to help Miami beat Notre Dame 63-57 and snap a 10-game losing streak. The Hurricanes ended a 20-game losing streak against ACC opponents (including an 81-65 loss to Boston College in the first round of the 2024 ACC Tournament). Miami (5-17, 1-10 ACC) beat a conference foe for the first time in almost a calendar year, dating to an 82-74 home win over Virginia Tech on Feb. 3, 2024.

Calipari coached the Wildcats for 15 years, winning one national championship.
