AP) — Doctor Bradley scored 13 points and UAPB surprised Texas Southern 69-68 on Tuesday night for its first Southwestern Athletic Conference win of the season. The Tigers missed two shots attempts in the final seconds to end it. Bradley's layup with 1:59 left gave the Golden Lions (4-18, 1-8) a 67-66 lead they never gave up.

Stirtz scores 23 as Drake takes down Murray State 55-45

Bennett Stirtz's 23 points helped Drake defeat Murray State 55-45 on Tuesday night and extend its winning streak to nine games. Stirtz shot 9 of 16 from the field, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Bulldogs (21-2, 11-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Tavion Banks added 16 points while going 7 of 10 and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line while they also had five rebounds.

Knox’s growth ‘gratifying’ to see for Hoop Hogs

One bright spot in the Arkansas (13-8, 2-6) basketball season has been the play of freshman forward Karter Knox, who has seen his game grow since he stepped on campus. It was slow going for Knox when the season started, but in recent games he has become more of a factor in the Razorbacks' game plan. More than just spotting up as a 3-point shooter, Knox is learning to become an "attack dog."
