Kansas’ continued struggles risk ending a 78-game ranked streak

No. 16 Kansas has been consistently inconsistent lately and that has the Jayhawks on the verge of falling out of the Associated Press Top 25 men’s college basketball poll. The Jayhawks, the preseason No. 1 team, has alternated between wins and losses in the last six games, including an 81-73 loss at Kansas State on Saturday. Kansas (16-7, 7-5 Big 12) trailed almost wire-to-wire, with the Jayhawks' last lead at 21-20 with 10:56 left in the first half.

Snoddy puts up 27 as Stony Brook downs Hofstra 80-75

Andre Snoddy had 27 points in Stony Brook's 80-75 victory over Hofstra on Saturday night. Snoddy also had 12 rebounds for the Seawolves (6-19, 2-10 Coastal Athletic Association). CJ Luster II shot 6 for 9 (5 for 7 from 3-point range) and 9 of 10 from the free-throw line to add 26 points.

Three score 17, Murray State downs Valparaiso 74-56

Nick Ellington, AJ Ferguson and Jacobi Wood all had 17 points in Murray State's 74-56 victory over Valparaiso on Saturday night. Ellington had 10 rebounds for the Racers (12-13, 6-8 Missouri Valley Conference). Ferguson shot 7 of 12 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and had seven rebounds.

Walter Clayton Jr. scored 19 points and Alex Condon added 17 as No. 6 Florida rallied from an early deficit and beat No. 1 Auburn 90-81 Saturday, ending the Tigers' 14-game winning streak. Florida (20-3, 7-3 Southeastern Conference), down by 10 points early, built a 10-point advantage by the end of the first half and held off Auburn in the second half for its second victory over a top-ranked team this season. Florida beat then-No. 1 Tennessee 73-43 on Jan. 7.

Taylor’s 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left leads No. 10 Texas A&M past No. 15 Missouri 67-64

Wade Taylor IV made a 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds remaining to lift No. 10 Texas A&M past No. 15 Missouri 67-64 on Saturday. Pharrel Payne scored 20 points, Taylor added 15 and Henry Coleman III grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds for the Aggies (18-5, 7-3 SEC) who entered in a three-way tie with Florida and Missouri for third place in the SEC. Tamar Bates led Missouri with 16 points, Mark Mitchell added 14 and Tamar Bates scored 12 for Missouri (18-5, 6-4) which lost at home for the first time this season.

Maclin late jumper lifts Radford past Longwood 71-69

Brandon Maclin hit a jumper with two seconds left to lift Radford to a 71-69 win over Longwood on Saturday. Maclin finished with 15 points and six rebounds for the Highlanders (16-10, 6-5 Big South Conference). Truth Harris scored 12 points while going 4 of 7 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 3 for 5 from the line.
