Bradley Ezewiro led UAB over Temple on Sunday with 15 points off of the bench in an 80-64 victory. Ezewiro had seven rebounds for the Blazers (18-9, 11-3 American Athletic Conference). Tony Toney scored 14 points while going 5 of 13 (4 for 10 from 3-point range).

Malik Reneau and Trey Galloway each scored 15 points, and Indiana allowed just 21 in the second half to overcome a 12-point halftime deficit and beat No. Purdue 73-58 on Sunday. Reneau also had six rebounds and was 7 of 7 from the field as he joined the 1,000-point club.

Trayanna Crisp scored 19 points, including a go-ahead jumper with 35 seconds left, freshman Lanie Grant added a career-high 19 and No. 9 North Carolina earned a 79-75 comeback victory over Louisville on Sunday. The Tar Heels (25-4, 13-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) were down by 12 with 2:25 left in the first quarter and trailed for more than 36 minutes. The Tar Heels played without wing Alyssa Ustby, who missed her second game after suffering a knee injury against N.C. State last week.

Dain Dainja had 22 points and 11 rebounds, PJ Haggerty also scored 22 and No. 22 Memphis sprinted past Florida Atlantic in the second half of an 84-65 victory Sunday. Colby Rogers added 15 points for first-place Memphis (22-5, 12-2 American Athletic Conference), which has won nine of 10. Florida Atlantic lost its second straight after a five-game winning streak.

Jacob Theodosiou scored 22 points as Loyola Maryland beat Colgate 84-65 on Sunday. Theodosiou had eight rebounds for the Greyhounds (11-16, 6-10 Patriot League). Milos Ilic scored 18 points and added nine rebounds and five assists.

Arizona has apologized after the school says some fans participated in an “unacceptable chant” following the basketball team's 96-95 loss to BYU on Saturday night. According to online video, fans can be heard yelling a profane phrase directed at Mormons as the teams were leaving the court. BYU is the flagship school for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
