Marin Cilic sees off Gilles Müller to reach final at Aegon Championships

• No4 seed wins 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 at Queen’s Club
• Cilic will play Grigor Dimitrov or Feliciano López in final

Fourth seed Marin Cilic dropped serve for the first time all week, but recovered to beat Gilles Müller in the semi-finals of the Aegon Championships on Saturday, winning 6-3 5-7 6-4.

Neither player had surrendered serve en route to the last four at Queen’s Club, but 2012 champion Cilic broke left-hander Müller in the fifth game before wrapping up the opening set.

West Bromwich Albion ‘very keen’ to trial safe standing in Premier League

West Bromwich Albion have responded positively to the Premier League’s letter asking the 20 teams about their interest in re-introducing standing sections in stadiums on a trial basis.

English clubs are legally required to have all-seater stadiums since the 1990 Taylor Report into the Hillsborough disaster recommended the change but the league’s governing body is keen on re-opening discussions about the matter.
