Cavs G Hill misses practice for college graduation

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard George Hill became a college graduate on Saturday, as he missed the team’s final practice before the Eastern Conference finals to attend his IUPUI graduation. Hill, 32, received his degree from the School of Liberal Arts and was one of two students to speak at the commencement, telling those in attendance that the upcoming series against the Boston Celtics could not have kept him from appearing to walk across the stage. An Indiana native, Hill played for the Jaguars from 2004-08.

Source: Kosta Koufos to exercise player option, return to Kings for 2018-19

The Sacramento Kings walked into the summer of 2018 with plenty of questions to answer. Kosta Koufos and Garrett Temple both have decisions to make with their player options for the 2018-19 season. NBA: Warriors’ McCaw hopes to return during postseason

Patrick McCaw has his sights set on playing some part in the Golden State Warriors’ in the postseason despite his back trouble. The Warriors guard is currently sidelined with a lumbar spine contusion after landing heavily having been inadvertently bumped while attempting a dunk against the Sacramento Kings on March 31. McCaw was diagnosed with a lumbosacral bone bruise but has made “steady functional progress” and was even cleared to begin modified on-court running and shooting drills last week.
